Secret clauses in the Constitution!

You probably did not know that the Constitution contains a “Good and Plenty” clause. Well, according to the late Representative John Conyers (D-Mich.), it is one of several clauses in the document that permits the federal government to force you to buy health insurance. It is one of those “secret” clauses that were written into the Constitution in invisible ink, and which only woke leftists can see.

There are good and plenty of such clauses.

Recently, Stu Burguiere (producer of, and participant in, The Glenn Beck Program), during a Megyn Kelly podcast, laughingly pointed to another such hitherto unknown clause, which may be termed the “Should Be” clause. It is cited by some Democrats in supporting the now overturned decision of the Colorado Supreme Court to (in my view) snatch ballots out of the hands of the voters and place them in the hands of judges, who obviously know better than we do, as to who our rulers (always Democrats) “should be.” Judges “should be” allowed to decide for whom we are allowed to vote, as long as they decide we must vote for Democrats. It’s obvious!

Although it does not always take the form of a clause, Democrats have long cited the same underlying principle whenever they deem that it would serve the Republic, defined as the Democrat party. For example, in previous years, they decided that President Trump “should be” (1) required to take a cognitive ability test, which undoubtedly “should” (2) disqualify him from the presidency. He took it. It didn’t. He aced it.

But now that Biden is the occupant of the Oval Office, there is an exception to the “Should Be” clause, which says that Joe Biden “Should Not Be” required to take the same test, because even though it is clear...

I doubt that many democRATs have read the Constitution or even the Bill of Rights. They swore an oath and don’t even know what it means.

No longer the Rule of Law.
Now we have the Rule of Men.

On paper, we are a republic.
In reality, we are an oligarchy.
And the oligarchs do as they wish.

More lies form Representative John Conyers, the Democrats, and the Left.

On top of the stupidity of this guy’s assertions, any kind of “secret clause” would be automatically invalid because what matters is what ratifying states knew and intended to ratify into law.

If we force insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions, then for purely commonsensical reasons regardless of what the Constitution says we need to require everyone to have health insurance from birth to death.

I don't think we should force insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions, so I don't think people should be required to have health insurance.

However, the nonsense that was spouted in order to get ObamaCare enacted has led a lot of sheeple to believe they can have their cake and eat it too, i.e. wait until they have an expensive health problem and then get insurance that covers it. This is especially true of expectant mothers who can go insurance-free for years until they need prenatal care and then get insurance to cover the visits and delivery.

Isn't free money grand!

Our intelligence apparati use the “sources and methods” clause to negate the bill of rights and effective oversight by the people’s elected representatives.

I can’t find the “Freedom from Religion” clause in my copy of the Constitution. It must be part of the “Emanations from Penumbra” section in the New and Improved Constitution™.

The Commerce Clause and the General Welfare Clause have been the most abused language in US legal history. They are the source of most of the misery of congressional abuse.

I always understood the General Welfare clause to mean that the populace in general should be on welfare.

They're looking for the secret clause that let's them pass a law next month that they can apply retroactively to something that happened three years ago.

They still have to justify the sitting president signing a law to kick his rival off the ballot.
