Fani and the Politics of the Ping

The Left finds out that tracking by cell phone is a sword that cuts both ways.

Before the “Insurrection” (the one where people forgot to bring guns), the smart people at the New York Times knew that cell phone pings could be used to track people with great precision. In a piece called, “How to Track President Trump,” Stuart Thompson and Charlie Warzel described how they tracked one of Trump’s Secret Service agents, by using cell phone technology.

The meticulous movements -- down to a few feet -- of the president’s entourage were recorded by a smartphone we believe belonged to a Secret Service agent, whose home was also clearly identifiable in the data...We could also see other stops this person made, apparently more connected with his private life than his public duties.

The article, written in December 2019, included an aerial map of Mar-A-Lago, and it showed exactly where the Secret Service agent was standing:

SNIP

Saving Fani Willis

Unfortunately, cell-phone accuracy is being disparaged again -- this time in a futile effort to save Fani’s fanny. Here is an example. A learned Georgia Tech professor (Paul Steffes) has claimed:

“At best, the data appears (sic) to show Wade, who could have been driving around, was within a 9-square-mile area that include Willis’s condo.”

Somehow, we have gone from just “a few feet” to “9 square miles.” That may not sound right to you, but lawyers for the Fulton County prosecutor’s office have already confirmed it: The pings coming from Wade’s cell phone can only place him within a “multiple-mile radius.” I bet some of the J-6 defendants wish they had been told this before they were convicted and sent to the D.C. gulag. Remember, cell-phone pings were the method du jour that put many of them behind bars.

This article also covers the “2000 Mules” tracking used in private investigations of the 2020 election fraud ballot box stuffing.

“we have gone from just “a few feet” to ‘9 square miles.’”

When my sister and I travel together alone, I do location share with my husband. (It’s for safety. I watch too much Oxygen and ID. People disappear.) He knows exactly the restaurant where we’re eating.

Share my location is exactly that. Your cell phone know where you are using GPS, it then ‘share’s that location with another cell phone. IOW, share your location uses a cooperating cell phone for location. Tracking a cell phone location uses cell phone tower data to locate a cell phone. It isn’t a cooperative process. Different processes, different accuracies. Still, it’s BS to say that cell phone location using towers is only accurate to 9 square miles.

NSA could provide Satellite data from photo or signals.

The rwo tier justice system in America protects rioters from J6 type identification.

President Trump is located but not low intelligence DNC political operators like Fani and Wade.

If we really wanted to know which of the body doubles for Biden is hiding in plain sight, like a Presidental debate....

Fani only exists because of the two tier political justice system.

Someday an American President is going to have a limited nuclear exchange trading his political opponents in their cities for a new common sense conservative majority. Without race and gender politics the this country would thrive.

I worked with GPS data making digital maps. Its typically accurate to just a few feet. In rare cases it might be off 100 feet or so.

It is of course dependent on a ping being GPS enabled and be successfully recorded. A location based just on cell phone towers for example can be off if for some reason the GPS on the phone is not working.

Yep, absolutely. My wife and I watched the Alex Murdaugh trial on court TV. They showed evidence from his cell phone where at one point he stopped his car for exactly xx.x minutes, where he walked out into the field exactly xx feet, remained xx.x seconds, and then returned to his car to drive away.

The detailed accuracy was absolutely incredible. I have known for years they can do this but how accurate it really is blew me away.

Paul Steffes is neglecting to tell you that you get the 9 mile hit from just one of the local towers, there are others within or near the cell area that also have signal and can be tracked. You get (have) record of three of them and you’ve got better than his 9 miles. Cell phones have to have next strongest backups because the potential exists you might transit into one and need your home coverage there. A very misleading article if you ask me.

So when are they going to get Fani’s cell phone data and then discover that Wade’s cell phone and Fani’s cell phone were sleeping next to each other???????

This is an OVERT ACT by the Lawyers and the Professor of Conspiracy to Obstruct Justice and they should all be JAILED for it. They know they are Lying and so does everyone else, except maybe the partisan Judge.

So if the Secret Service protective detail’s location can be tracked like this, what stops would-be assassins from using the same method to direct drones to the President’s location? Hopefully this vulnerability has been eliminated.

We all know this is simply untrue. Cell phone tracking is within about 3 ft.

ani Willis Paid Nathan Wade From Confiscated Property Fund

newsweek,com, Mar 06, 2024, By Sean O’Driscoll

Atlanta District Attorney Fani Willis paid the chief prosecutor in Donald Trump’s election fraud trial out of her seized property fund for the first three months he was hired, disclosed work contracts show.

Willis and Wade testified in February that they were previously in a relationship but insist that relationship began after Willis hired him to oversee the prosecution of Donald Trump and his co-accused, who were indicted for allegedly trying to overthrow the Georgia result of the 2020 presidential election.

The pair denied in their testimony that they had tried to cover up their relationship until Wade was hired to prosecute the Trump case.

Willis and Wade did not sign a contract until more than four months into Nathan Wade’s role as chief prosecutor in the Donald Trump election fraud case in Georgia.

Wade earned an average of $25,149 a month for his first 26 months on the case despite never having prosecuted a felony, a Newsweek review of his invoices has found.

With Life360 (even the free version) - it knows the restaurant name and location.

From that, you can tie it with Google street view, and can give a picture of the location. Obviously, it’s not a live picture (yet), but Person of Interest (TV show) covered this eventuality by using any publicly shared camera (cell phones, laptops, etc.) to stream live scenes nearby.
