Last week Newt Gingrich tried to remind Americans how serious the threat of nuclear conflict remains. In a sober essay, he warned that the United States is not prepared to withstand nuclear or electromagnetic pulse attacks and urged Americans to prepare for unthinkable possibilities. Then a few days later, I woke up to read that “white rural rage” is the greatest “threat to democracy” and thought, “Well, at least we don’t have to worry about nuclear Armageddon now.” Such is the sorry state of the “woke” West that the “thinking class” moronically obsesses over trivialities, while ignoring everything that is disastrous.
This somewhat regurgitated “white rural rage” thesis comes from a “journalist” and an “academic” who have written a book explaining why white, patriotic Americans who just want to live their lives free from government interference are actually responsible for everything wrong in the country. Just when I think my white-hot contempt for closed-minded toffs couldn’t burn more brightly, a couple nitwits ratchet up my “rage” to eleventy. Dang, they got me. Turns out that if you scapegoat rural Americans long enough, some will get angry. Uff da.
Of course, anyone who lives in or near rural America knows that the brain-dead professor and reporter tag-team responsible for this drivel never spent any time meeting the people whom they disparage. If they had, it would have been impossible for them to write so dishonestly (even for people paid to lie for a living). Rural America is where authentic democracy flourishes. People still gather in churches and town squares to discuss their communities’ hardships and successes. Law enforcement and firefighting depend on the efforts of volunteers. Local papers tell stories of next-door neighbors and follow the adventures of townspeople far from home — many risking their lives in combat overseas.

As I’ve said before, Day 5 of the Non-flushing Toilets will be vastly entertaining.
BTTT
I like the way you think.

Just more Democrat politician smokescreen to try and coverup their illegal and immoral accumulation of wealth.
ain’t it grand bein’ a free thinker, and examining the aassaninities that others would hasten upon folks?
Yet lunch box joe continues to promote his average, everyman image. Trying to self identify with rural Americans.
That whole concept is a “heading off at the pass” attempt due the realization of the Leftist ghouls that rural Americans just might be the last bastion that can defeat them. So the effort is being made to preemptively demonize them as a group in order to shake their self-confidence, and if possible, to have them start to believe in the most successful propaganda initiative in world history for disabling white Americans, the fear of accusations of racism. Pavlov would be envious that he did not think of it first. They know that if they can succeed in penetrating the minds of rural Americans with that fear, then they will willingly herd themselves into the cattle cars to prove that they are not racist.
“Yeah, when people talk like this, i get angry at the education system. Things are not well there. Critical thinking is a thing of the past.”
Today’s education in systems in urban blue cities and liberal sanctuary cities and states are a disgrace. Most rural education systems try to educate kids and provide some optional vocation skills classes along with American history and government. I am old school, three degrees and postdoc. Boomers and our children are the last of what used to be our educational systems, American home life and our justice system. This election is crossroads for America. We must take a right turn.
Does the Left have even a clue what happens on the opening day of deer season? Do they realize just how many citizens with guns are heading into the woods on that happy morning?
They should be happy that this civilian infantry is headed away from the city and not toward it.
I don’t think they are confused at all.
They know exactly what they are doing.
It’s deliberate and evil.
Democratic National Socialists (DNC). It is what NAZIs do.
Democratic National Socialists (DNC). It is what NAZIs do. They are Nazi Brownshirts..
the real threats to democracy, the lefturd loons, are projecting their own hatred for democracy
Rural America is where real Americans are living...Liberals might hate them, but I don’t.

In a luxury apartment building …. :-/
Better stock up on cat litter :-)
That is the pattern they are following.
Mao and Stalin had quick solutions for that. Kill them. Starve them. The American left’s solutions are subtler. Fentynol. Killing off the small farm.
Remember, Stalin & crew had to dehumanize the kulaks before his NKVD could execute, torture, and starve them into submission.
Newt is speaking outside of his area of competence here. The EMP threat is way overstated. Widspread outages from EMP require a number of large nuclear weapons. We already have a doctrine for that. It's called total nuclear annihilation.
The problem is that there is a growing group of inside the Beltway grifters who are lobbying for lots and lots of money to fund their foundations and businesses to study the problem.
It's hard to imagine. Deepstate grifters hyping an issue they actually lack the technical knowledge to undestand or do anything abourt to get into the taxpayers pocket and buy themselves a nice mansion in Potomac Md or McClean Va.
America has been robbed blind by armies of these people. And note that none of them actually have companies that produce hardware. The MIC is a actually a misnomer these days. Sure there are the LMs and Northorp Grumans and General Dynamics who, however scheming and bureaucratic and inefficient and exorbatnly expensive actually produce real hardware that eventually is made to work. But there are legions of folks who have nothing to do with them who produce nothing but white papers and powerpoint decks at high rates of pay, channeling a percentage back through lobbyists to their fellow swampgrifters.
One of my favorite Norman Rockwell paintings. It’s named “Freedom of Speech.”
