Last week Newt Gingrich tried to remind Americans how serious the threat of nuclear conflict remains. In a sober essay, he warned that the United States is not prepared to withstand nuclear or electromagnetic pulse attacks and urged Americans to prepare for unthinkable possibilities. Then a few days later, I woke up to read that “white rural rage” is the greatest “threat to democracy” and thought, “Well, at least we don’t have to worry about nuclear Armageddon now.” Such is the sorry state of the “woke” West that the “thinking class” moronically obsesses over trivialities, while ignoring everything that is disastrous.
This somewhat regurgitated “white rural rage” thesis comes from a “journalist” and an “academic” who have written a book explaining why white, patriotic Americans who just want to live their lives free from government interference are actually responsible for everything wrong in the country. Just when I think my white-hot contempt for closed-minded toffs couldn’t burn more brightly, a couple nitwits ratchet up my “rage” to eleventy. Dang, they got me. Turns out that if you scapegoat rural Americans long enough, some will get angry. Uff da.
Of course, anyone who lives in or near rural America knows that the brain-dead professor and reporter tag-team responsible for this drivel never spent any time meeting the people whom they disparage. If they had, it would have been impossible for them to write so dishonestly (even for people paid to lie for a living). Rural America is where authentic democracy flourishes. People still gather in churches and town squares to discuss their communities’ hardships and successes. Law enforcement and firefighting depend on the efforts of volunteers. Local papers tell stories of next-door neighbors and follow the adventures of townspeople far from home — many risking their lives in combat overseas.

Yeah, when people talk like this, i get angry at the education system. Things are not well there. Critical thinking is a thing of the past.

The left is definitely confused.. White rural Americans who support the Constitution, love America, are Patriotic, believe in personal freedoms, support the 1st and 2nd amendments, believe in “legal” immigration, want kids to be educated vice indoctrinated, want free and fair elections with voter ID are a threat to democracy.
Democracy.. the much overused word when we’re a Republic.
In a pure democracy, laws are made directly by the voting majority leaving the rights of the minority largely unprotected.
In a republic, laws are made by representatives chosen by the people and must comply with a constitution that specifically protects the rights of the minority from the will of the majority.
Everything the left says it represents is twisted reality.
Antifa is fascist, Gender ideology is denying science fact (it’s a psychological disorder much like liberalism), DEI promotes the exact opposite, WOKE is actually social injustice where merit is replaced with stupidity. The list is endless.
Rural America controls the food.
Rural America controls the power generation.
Rural America controls the water.
Rural America controls the methods by which all of the above get to the cities.
Sooner or later, we’re going to cut off that stuff and watch the b*stards freeze and starve to death in the dark.

The greatest dangers to the leftists live in Hawaii and the metro DC, NY, SF, Boston and LA areas.

I watched that video clip a day or so ago, I don’t really get mad any more when I hear idiots going on about Rural America or White rage, I am beyond getting mad at these people.
The left thru this book and other ways are telling us where they see the biggest problem in this country is located, once in a while we hear what action the left wants to take against what they perceive as the biggest issue in America.
Most of my time today is not getting mad at these people but getting prepared for the day when these people actually take real action against their perceived enemies.
IMO, it’s a waste of time trying to figure out why liberals think like this, they fact is they do, now is the time to get ready for the inevitable action these people will take.
In today’s world,it doesn’t take a nuclear war to destroy a country. One well placed EMP would essentially send a country back to the dark ages. I’m sure Iran or N Korea would use one on hte US if given the chance much to the amusement of Russia and China. Maybe that is why it is coming to light many billionaires are building hidey holes: “Billionaires are building bunkers and buying islands”. Of course a worldwide collapse of all countries economic systems could also force them into hiding.
A book on rural rage is just red meat for the left. Every election cycle we gets books warning of white nationalism, Christian nationalism or some such ism. It will be interesting to see how many books are bought. The left doesn’t read.

If these Jews said the same things about any other race they would rightfully be ostracized from civil society, but it’s about white people so it’s a-okay.
