Why are so many Americans still dying of COVID?
For the week ending Dec. 9, the last week of complete data, there were 1,614 deaths from COVID, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The last four weeks of complete data show an average of 1,488 weekly deaths.
By comparison, there were 163 weekly deaths from the flu for the week ending Dec. 9, according to CDC data.

The current "weekly rate of COVID mortality is similar to what we were getting per day at [the worst] parts of the pandemic. So, proportionally, we're in a completely different place than where we were, thankfully," Dr. Cameron Wolfe, a professor of infectious diseases at Duke University in North Carolina, told ABC News. "But there's still a pretty significant mortality; 1,500 patients dying every week is unacceptable, frankly."
Experts said there are several reasons why people might still be dying from the virus, including not enough people accessing treatments or getting vaccinated as well as waning immunity.
Additionally, if more people get sick, even if in lesser numbers than in previous waves, it will naturally lead to more people becoming hospitalized and, in turn, dying.

Shoot. I did do a search.
I gave blood today and one of the questions was, did you get a Covid vaccination? I didn’t but I asked if it would disqualify me if I did. The tech said, “I don’t think so.” Then she added, “I had to get one, but I sure wish I hadn’t.” I didn’t explore why but she also told me she had subsequently gotten Covid, and it was the sickest she had ever been. Some “vaccination,” huh?
A different thread today said that the global number was 10,000 a month. Seems unlikely that 60% of the global total is just from the US.
The numbers are just made up.
Pardon my french, but I didn’t believe the mortality data from 2020 to 2022.....why in the world should I believe that shit now?
Once again, “the experts” are baffled by something about Covid they were so sure about just a short-time ago.
Maybe because they are still being denied access to ivermectin, HCQ, zinc and Vitamin D?
Or because these are elderly or frail or metabolically unsound people who would have died from other diseases or disorders. They never give us actual facts.
The correct numbers are about 80-90 Covid dead per day. That is not 1500/week. If they are talking global, maybe.
Age grouping 60-84. Oddly, 84+ are pretty safe.

I don’t believe anything these people say after watching a guy have a heart attack in his truck and hitting a Harley Head On, killing Both and YES they both died from COVID.

Methinks the numbers are made up, as well as the variants. Just pick a cool number and letter combination that sounds scary.
