The quarterback carousel is turning once again for the Minnesota Vikings.
Rookie Jaren Hall will start Sunday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers, coach Kevin O’Connell confirmed Thursday, marking the team’s fourth change in starters since Kirk Cousins tore his right Achilles tendon in Week 8.
——————————————————————-
Rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud has cleared concussion protocol and plans to start for the Houston Texans against the Tennessee Titans in Week 17.
It’ll be Stroud’s first start since suffering a concussion in the fourth quarter of a Week 14 loss to the New York Jets. The No. 2 overall pick didn’t practice or play for two weeks.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, who is nursing a high ankle sprain, is not expected to play Sunday at the Baltimore Ravens, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Thursday.
Waddle sustained the injury in Sunday’s victory over the Dallas Cowboys.
He played college football at North Dakota State University and was drafted by the Chargers in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. This will be his third start, he's 0-2.

Waddle being out is good for the Ravens. But they’ll still have to contend with Tyreek Hill who killed the Ravens when they last met.
Meanwhile the Browns, even with Flacco throwing a pick-6, are killing the Jets.
Jets/Browns: Too late. Would have said Browns. I’ll see who won after I hit send...

I swear, every time the Lions play the Cowboys, the Refs gift the Cowboys a win.
Hopefully, this will give the Lions some piss and vinegar come playoff time.
Man what has happened to Russell Wilson? Ten years ago he was looking as if he would become an all-time great. This week he is benched in favor of.... whom?! And will in all probability be released at the end of this season. In retrospect it was a bad move for him to go to Denver, and a bad move by Denver to bring him onboard.
Well it looked for awhile there that Denver was making progress, and then it all fell apart again.
You certainly called that one. Maybe I should follow your picks for the semifinals!
I figured FSU would have been more motivated and would have been full-strength for this game. But 19 players sat it out.
Says it all about the state of College Football today.
Alas... See my post below...
I only question.... why not kick the PAT and go to OT once your first attempt has failed.
A loss like that on a national stage has got to sting badly.
