On Nov. 20, 2023, a U.S. Navy P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft 169561 YD-561, belonging to the VP-4 “Skinny Dragons” based at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington, ended in water after overshooting the runway during landing at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
The crew, safely evacuated the aircraft after the mishap without immediate injuries....

They cannot say that it wasn’t caused by women, because there were no men in the pilot’s seat.
It probably crashed for the same reason there are few female racecar drivers, because there are skills that are inherently male and inherently female and flying a jet plane is what men do best.
What about all the crashes with male crews?
This follows the mishap on the Space Station where the two women went on a space walk and dropped the tool bag that’s still floating around up there.

I don’t like women in warplanes, period. That being said there are plenty of men who have even worse accidents than these women. I’m not saying that the pilot wasn’t at fault but I don’t believe they are any more likely than a male crew would be to be at fault. There are many women flight crews in civilian aviation and they seem to be doing just fine.
Men are more risky drivers, that is true. Men will tend to do things like drive through a space that has a margin of two inches on either side of the vehicle. But that’s because their inherent maleness allows for things like that more than women.
What I say is not inherently anti-female.
Civilian planes is a different ballgame than military jets, because the stress isnt’ there.
I'm sure it was no one's fault.
That's introducing real life into the thread!
We can't have that, can we? /s
False premise again.
There could be few female drivers and pilots because they don’t sign up for it.
And as for general driving, insurance for ages has penalized males, because they prove to be worse drivers. Despite the sexist nonsense canards.
Diversity is out strength! Perversity is our guide!
Women not involved? There was not a Dick on that airplane just a bunch of Jills.
Diversity? Pffft! Merit is most of what got us where we were. Diversity will just put us back to where we began.

Don’t know about where you live, but in CA, men 18-25 are the highest risk, then 26-35 women are higher risk then men. Not sure past that.
Not as much, because you’re flying within rules.
Military pilots don’t fly within rules?
How many military planes are you prepared to lose trying to prove your supposition that females can be successful military pilots?
I made no such supposition.
Danica Patrick is the most successful woman in the history of American open-wheel car racing—her victory in the 2008 Indy Japan 300 is the only win by a woman in an IndyCar Series race.
