The mystery of how the pyramids were built may have finally been solved thanks to the discovery of an ancient branch of the Nile that once flowed through Giza. Hundreds of meters wide, the enormous waterway has long since dried up, but could have provided transportation for the colossal amounts of material and workers needed to construct the iconic landmarks thousands of years ago.

The logistics issue of how to transport thousands of workers, food to keep them fed, and the materials they need, becomes much simpler if there’s a convenient waterway.
.
Transporting workers and materials ( moving tonnage!) is a lot more simplistic than explaining the design, engineering, and workmanship….plus the purpose for such an huge longterm endeavor.
Well, there is a major highway running from Faiyum to Giza, and guess what? It follows the same path as this dried up finger of the Nile. Not a stretch to think folks walked the banks of the river, and continued walking that path even after the water dried up. The bank paths became a road, and the road became a major highway. Things don’t change too much in that part of the world.
I’m pretty sure that this river didn’t lift each of the tons of blocks in the construction?🤔
the enormous waterway has long since dried up
No.
I once heard that the pyramids were built by digging a big hole in the ground, filling it with blocks, and then turning the assembled blocks over to get the pyramid.
I heard this on a Swiss radio station, so make of it what you will.
We don’t have the technology or equipment to move those giant blocks today, how exactly did they do it? The supposed river would not have accomplished what they are trying to sell.
This newly discovered water route would get the stones closer to the edge of the plateau, but they would still have to carry them up the plateau and then up onto the ever-growing pyramid.
I wonder if they found evidence of a pulley system.
If they had not driven all those SUVs, the water ways would not have dried up.
Are you related to the posters yesterday who were saying the moon landing was faked? Why do you say such crazy stuff? “We don’t have the tech today to move blocks?” That’s just crazy talk.
Mebbe. But, the aliens, not being stupid, simply dug a canal and let the slaves float the stuff they needed.
Many problems are easy to solve. Just tell the “knowItAlls” to shut up and think.
No, I just forgot that Caterpillar was making cranes capable of lifting 100-1500 TON blocks of Stone a thousands of years ago, the desert in Egypt is probably still scattered with the remnants of these colossal machines.
Stop deflecting. You said we don’t have the tech today, not 4500 years ago. If you want to question how difficult it was to build them back then, fine. But don’t say we couldn’t do it today.
Giant blocks were moved by....wait for it...Giants!
Og, King of Bashan, was a giant at the time of Ramses II.
Goliath was a thousand years after pyramids supposedly built. Nimrud is said to have been a giant according to Khandahar oral
tradition. Even the book of Enoch describes how the good giants moved blocks to imprison another evil giant. Yup it was giants did done built them pyramids, I’m tellin’ y’all.
When the earth was cooler and wetter.
