This story is incredibly sad.
A "smaller friend" was being tormented by a group of 15 bullies down the street from a Vegas high school — literally having been placed in a trash can — when Jonathan Lewis, a now deceased 17-year-old, came to the rescue and started throwing punches in defense of his little buddy. Unfortunately, and this is hard to put on paper, Lewis was beaten so severely by that same mob of 15 kids that he ended up succumbing to his injuries and sadly passed away less than two weeks later.
This is a serious matter and I honestly hope there is a judge somewhere who will make an example out of these bullies. I know if it was my kid doing the bullying in this situation I'd want full consequences — no questions asked. You get what you deserve, and when you kill someone the punishment should fit the crime.

That kid in the middle of that mob is Jonathan Lewis, who ended up dying as a result of this wicked beating.
Jonathan Lewis, a 17-year-old student at Rancho High School, died last Tuesday — less than two weeks after he was savagely beaten by a mob of 15 kids, his father, also named Jonathan Lewis, confirmed to 8 News Now on Thursday.
"One of his smaller friends had something stolen by this group of 15, and they threw the small boy in the trash can, and our son confronted them and he was attacked," according to a GoFundMe page set up by his family …
Following the attack, police officers found Jonathan bleeding from the head.
Paramedics rushed to his aid, performing chest compressions on Lewis before transporting him to the hospital …
The teen was put on life support at University Medical Center, where he died last Tuesday.
I don't even want to get into the race factor here, as we all know how this would be depicted in the media had the roles been reversed. It's not about race, really. It's about kids not having a purpose. They don't have jobs, after school activities, or even a simple hobby. So they turn to bullying because they're bored.
As for the punishment:
The father also shared that the family was told by investigators they plan to charge several students with murder in Jonathan's death.
The Las Vegas Metro Police Department's homicide unit is investigating the incident, but so far no arrests have been made, the outlet reported.
Honestly, make an example out of these kids. There's no excuse for this. They killed a kid.

there are literally hundreds and hundreds of videos on social media of the same people beating up helpless individuals. Other than in full out riots, you do not see this elsewhere.
Do you really think there are no white kids, hispanic kids, Asian kids with no job or no purpose?
Shouldn’t there be an equal number of videos violence among everyone in society?

First, they are not “bullies”, they are murderers.
Second, they are not misunderstood or suffering from a lack of paint by number classes, they’re demonic as evidenced by the choices they make to destory the innocent.

Cold weather outside of a big city seems to do a good job of warding them off. The urban ferals don’t like hard living.
1983. My wife’s high school had two buildings on campus separated by about 50 yards of sidewalk. It was the last day of school. As she was walking from one building to another a black girl came up behind her and punched her for no reason. Knocked her to the ground and almost unconscious.
My wife was a fairly well known student as she was on the dance team. It was supposed she was “targeted”. The black girl loudly proclaimed that they couldn’t do nothing to her because it was the last day of school.
This has been going on for a long time. It has only become common knowledge due to the advent of smartphones and everyone walking around with video cameras. I have been jumped by blacks. My son has been jumped by blacks. It was one of the pluses of moving to New Mexico - Broward County = 30% black, Sandoval County = 3% black.
Before you tag me as a racist, my son’s godfather is black. My dad’s best friend was black. I’ve dated black girls. I do not have a problem with all black people. I have a problem with feral black people and, unfortunately, they are becoming a larger, and larger percentage of the whole.
While my wife was a senior and graduating, her attacker was a junior. They decided to suspend her for the first two weeks of the next school year. My wife’s parents wanted to press charges, but the school and police refused to do so, saying it was an “internal matter” at the school.
Maybe not an upstanding citizen himself.. but if the races involved were reversed, he’d be getting sainthood and a horse-drawn carriage funeral procession through the nation’s Capitol.
The media would portray it like Mississippi burning. If it were my son I’d get justice one way or another.
I have been attacked and robbed in HS, and robbed in the street as a paperboy, and beaten.
Always by blacks.

The white community will hammer down on anyone who says something racist about blacks. Sometimes it will cost them their jobs.
People just don't want the hassle and so avoid such confrontations.

If you do the math you will discover that there were 15 ( FIFTEEN ) attackers! I find it interesting that mind-addled Joe Biden recently asked America, “Who needs a gun with 100 rounds in the chamber?” Apparently, Jonathan Lewis did.
