ARTICLE
The Russian Defense Ministry has said that a ship of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, located at a shipyard in Kerch, “has been damaged”.
SOURCE: Russian Defence Ministry
DETAILS:
Russian propagandists claim that Ukraine fired 15 cruise missiles on the Butoma Shipyard in Kerch.
The invaders’ air defense allegedly shot down 13 of the cruise missiles, and one missile “damaged the ship”.
For half a day prior to that, the Crimean occupiers had been claiming that “some of the debris from the downed missiles fell on the area of one of the dry docks”.
BACKGROUND:
• Explosions were heard and an air-raid warning was issued in Russian-occupied Crimea on 4 November.
• Later, it became known that Air Force pilots had launched successful strikes on Kerch, likely sinking one of the most modern ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, a Kalibr cruise missile carrier.
• Shipbuilding and repair plants in temporarily occupied Crimea which serve the Russian army and are part of the Russian military-industrial complex are legitimate targets for the Ukrainian Defense Forces

Talk about you’re late to the game, where were you when DC quashed the initialed settlement between Zelensky and Russia in the spring of ‘22? The blood of the roughly 400,000 innocent, slaughtered Ukrainian boys murdered since then is on the hands of the DC warmongering globalists, neocons and their hinterland stooges who are all responsible for the continuance of the war since that nefarious deed.
“There’s no path to victory for Ukraine, it’s over. OK?”
Sure there is. That’s why they want NATO (us, the USA) to get in.
All fantasies and lies, nearly all the time. Ca-ching! Ca-ching! Slavo U Crayknee!!! $$$$$$$$$$$$
You are a fool if you believe a word from CNN or Time Magazine.
Both are loathsome creatures of darkness and lies.
The truth is, there are several definitions of victory for Ukraine, and each definition has paths to get there.
Zelenskyy's definitions of victory are focused on Crimea, and in that Ukraine is largely victorious, having rendered Crimea unusable to the Russian navy, which was Vlad the Invader's single biggest justification for seizing Crimea in 2014 -- he claimed he needed the naval base at Sevastopol, and now he can't use it.
By another definition of victory, Ukraine already won in the first few weeks of war -- there will never again be a Russian dominated Ukraine, Ukraine is now permanently independent of Russia and firmly allied with Europe and NATO.
What's at issue today is the exact borders of independent Ukraine.

Of course politicians are corrupt, or at the very least take advantage of their positions to enrich themselves.
Putin and his oligarchy friends certainly take the gold medal, but the US in particular have some serious contender starting with xiden.
Reminds me of arguments I had back in the. 80s with leftists on campus who argued that our system was unfair because 3% controlled 90% of wealth….
Could have argued about wealth is not all liquid, they take the risks, someone owns the factory but that would have been pointless, usually is anyways, but I would generally say something like Well I guess you prefer.5% controlling 99% like in China and Soviet Union
Even then the response would be racist, nazi, facist(funnier when you realize that Soviet Union and China were textbook definitions of facist economies), but it was fun anyways
Like being sober at a party and watching all the drunks do their thing
Can be funny, like Russia is a democracy, savior of Christianity, being restrained, and liberators for their brothers in “Ukraine”
Comedy only works when there is some truth in it
I would say starting with carving up poland with Nazi germany and then decades of brutal rule by soviets created this “enemy” of Russia
Ole medved hitting the sauce again
But sadly his psyche is not really at odds with IWI, many Russians.
Russian historical context generally starts at the point the Germans invaded in 1941
Not that they would have, but imagine if the soviets had genuinely came to the aid of poles instead of on the same side as Nazi germany, but shush it was a “SMO “

I know of four sources repeating this story, all of them Russian or pro-Russian:
Kremlin deputy chief of staff Dmitry Kozak, Putin’s chief envoy on Ukraine, was said to have secured a deal guaranteeing that Ukraine would not join NATO — a key Russian demand prior to its full-scale invasion of its pro-Western neighbor.
According to Reuters, Putin made clear that Kozak’s deal with an unspecified number of Ukrainian concessions did not go far enough.
Putin reportedly “expanded his objectives to include annexing swathes of Ukrainian territory,” Reuters reported.
“Everything was canceled.
Putin simply changed the plan as he went along,” one of Reuters’ sources was quoted as saying."
Indeed, if anything, the Biden administration was eager to provide Zelenskyy with "a ride" out of Ukraine, which he rejected, asking for anti-tank ammunition instead.
Bottom line: for many years I negotiated often difficult agreements and sometimes told the other party I had to discuss it with my boss, which was true, but my boss almost always accepted my recommendations.
The real purpose was to give me time to think over and talk over proposals before finally accepting, rejecting or modifying them.
Then, if I wanted to stay on good terms, I'd sometimes say I liked their proposal, but my boss wouldn't go along with it.
So, if there's any truth to this story at all, which I doubt, something like that has to be the basis of it.
They're the Left's mouthpieces though. If they're reporting this, it's over. Usually, they would bury this or try to spin it.
The truth is, there are several definitions of victory for Ukraine, and each definition has paths to get there.
The truth is, Ukraine has no path to victory. Which is why the fake Biden administration is gently off-ramping and switching to Israel.
Russia has the upper-hand in any negotiations, so your scenario isn't valid. And trust me, there WILL be negotiations.
By another definition of victory, Ukraine already won in the first few weeks of war
ROFL
-- there will never again be a Russian dominated Ukraine, Ukraine is now permanently independent of Russia and firmly allied with Europe and NATO.
Firmly allied with the WEF, EU, and the Globalists. Not a good trade-off.
If you had any serious argument to make here, you wouldn't be blasting away with ridiculous personal insults.
Oh come on, we're all adults here. Insults and sarcasm has always been the hallmark of FR.
This fake news story originated with Time Magazine Russian agent Simon Shuster.
The man Shuster claimed is a "Zelenskyy aide" is actually a lower-level apparatchik who has now fled Ukraine and is running for election as Ukraine's president in opposition to Zelenskyy.
Typical of Time Magazine, the story is a political hit job on Zelenskyy, nothing more.
Worldtraveler once upon a time: "Corruption accusations continue to plague top Zelenskiy aides Reuters, 19 September 2023"
Articles on Ukrainian corruption could well be legitimate, and demonstrate that, unlike Russia or the USA, Ukrainians are waging literal war against their own corrupt officials.
This is the AI result of my bing query:
The latest news article from US News reports that Congress has already approved $113 billion for Ukraine since Russia invaded in February 2022, but Biden’s $24 billion request for more funds in August never moved ahead.
The White House has said it has less than $5.5 billion in funds to continue transferring weapons from U.S. stockpiles to Ukrainian forces fighting Russia2.
I hope this information helps."
You might be right, see my post #57 above.
It is the nature of Democrats to rush into foreign wars, most often with no plan for victory, and then to run away in defeat whenever the going gets tough and, most critically, when Democrats can blame Republicans for their own misconduct.
As I understand the words from new Speaker Mike Johnson, there will be another aid package for Ukraine, at some point, likely tied with more border security funding.
Extremely Extreme Extremist: "The truth is, Ukraine has no path to victory.
Which is why the fake Biden administration is gently off-ramping and switching to Israel."
No, all depends on your definition of "victory".
By one definition -- defeating Vlad the Invader's wet dreams of conquering all of Ukraine -- Ukraine won that battle in early 2022.
By another definition -- Ukraine joining the EU and NATO -- those also seem eventually certain now.
But what might happen in Crimea and the Donbas is still to be determined, and how many Russian casualties Vlad the Invader's government can withstand is anybody's guess now.
Victory, like beauty, is in the eyes of the beholder, FRiend.
Extremely Extreme Extremist: "Russia has the upper-hand in any negotiations, so your scenario isn't valid.
And trust me, there WILL be negotiations."
I think you can be 100% certain there will be no negotiations until Russians are willing to give up something important in exchange for permanent peace.
More likely, we will end up with a situation as in Korea, now 70+ years later, still no formal peace treaty, only a "temporary" cease fire & armistice.
Russia will become, if it not already is, the new North Korea.
Vlad the Invader will become Little Kim's comrade-brother under CCP's Xi-snake domination.
Extremely Extreme Extremist: "Firmly allied with the WEF, EU, and the Globalists.
Not a good trade-off."
Ukrainians will be vastly better off firmly allied with the EU and NATO than under domination by "mother Russia".
If there was even the slightest doubt about that in, say, 2014, those doubts are today 100% gone from the minds of all Ukrainians.
Or at least that's my understanding.
Extremely Extreme Extremist: "Oh come on, we're all adults here.
Insults and sarcasm has always been the hallmark of FR."
Then you should explain that to some of the snowflake posters on your side of the arguments, those who are ever so quick to take offense at any alleged "microaggression", or "harassment".
I'd say that "clever repartee" is one thing, while ridiculous insults as substitutes for valid arguments simply expose the weakness of your own positions.
And -- yes -- people try to have things "both ways." Typical.
See my posts above -- by their natures, Democrats are quick to jump into wars, often without a plan for victory, and then soon enough run away in defeat as the going gets tough and they can somehow blame Republicans for their own misconduct.
Time Magazine is a typical Democrat organ.
