Actually now I’m remembering the time when one of them did this before. Just disappeared without an explanation, ignored any freepmails and pings. Then showed back up as if nothing happened.

My husbands sister & brother-in-law had signed a thing to donate their bodies for research. They wintered in Arizona. She ended up having Interstatial lung disease and in 2013 or 2014 went back to Arizona and she died down there. Her body was donated. I have no idea if to this one but probably. When I mentioned this episode which I first knew about several years ago to her daughter she just shurgged it off like no big deal. I was mortified.
When he died here in WA it was during covid and they would not take his body for research. He was then cremated but his daughter has never told me what they did with his ashes.
