You have a understandable and justified interest from Israel to Destroy Hamas.
However, I think the current plan will provoke an enormous reaction from the Muslim world.
Pretty much everyone from Indonesia to Morocco is going to be extremely upset and I think we will see the front against Israel in the region coalesce into a real Military alliance against Israel.
We need to protect Israel from itself.
The problem is, it takes a President who has the authority and strength to tell the Israeli Government no, you can not go into Gaza and execute the plans you have.

I think he’s a dickhead on this. The attack would be like 50,000 dead in America and 3,000 raped and taken hostage. There’s no way a self respecting nation can do anything but totally eradicate such an enemy.
Gaza is slightly larger than Saipan. Israel doesn’t have anything comparable to WWII Marines, but we got that with 70,000 and took around 3500 dead. And 13000 wounded. Took roughly a month.
They need to start and assault that place until it’s completely defeated. Any other national getting involved should face brutal consequences. Then there needs to be a sword of Gideon operation as in after Munich, all around the world killing the financiers and thought leaders and big time apologists whether they be in London, Europe or even in more surprising places.

The problem is Israel has never been allowed to win any of the wars it’s fought for the last 75 years. The scenario that’s played out every time is: Israel is attacked, Israel responds, Israel gains the upper hand and is moving toward victory. The West, the UN, and the Muslims all start clamoring for Israel to show restraint, show mercy, consider all “the innocents”, etc. Note there is not much said about restraint, mercy, or protect the innocent until Israel starts gaining the upper hand. To my knowledge Israel has never started any of these wars, but has beaten back the attackers until forced to stop winning. Gaza has brought this on themselves. Israel would like to live in peace, their enemies wish to exterminate them. Total victory is the only solution.
