Are the assets we have put in place nearby there to help Israel if needed, or to enforce a no-fly zone against Israel and constrain it if this war widens?

They will eventually be used to limit Israel’s efforts to eliminate the terrorists from the West Bank. I believe Israel may achieve support from the US with efforts against Hamas and Hezbollah; once they start Judea/Samaria is when the US will turn on them. Success there would eliminate all arguments for a two state solution. What is left to leverage against Israel without outright hostility toward a Jewish state?
I see Yemen has declared war against Israel today; they have already been firing missiles from there anyway. This is a ploy to threaten a wider conflict to force a cease fire - which I believe the US will eventually support by forcing Israel to stand down. I don’t see how (right now) an Israeli leader can stand down from putting this criminal terrorist element out of reach of their people once and for all - they are truly capable. The trick will be to ‘hide’ their effectiveness against these enemies to accomplish all this - I really don’t see how Israel can consider anything else a success; I believe the people are there now if the government wasn’t.
