You have a understandable and justified interest from Israel to Destroy Hamas.

However, I think the current plan will provoke an enormous reaction from the Muslim world.

Pretty much everyone from Indonesia to Morocco is going to be extremely upset and I think we will see the front against Israel in the region coalesce into a real Military alliance against Israel.

We need to protect Israel from itself.

The problem is, it takes a President who has the authority and strength to tell the Israeli Government no, you can not go into Gaza and execute the plans you have.

Well, what he is describing is exactly who will be involved and what will happen in what the Holy Bible describes in Ezekiel 38-39, and no mere human can stop what our Sovereign Lord has Written and has in store.

God Himself will destroy the kingdoms / nations who descend upon Israel like a cloud to cover the land and leave but a sixth of them, but Israel will be divinely Protected by The Mighty One of Israel’s Hand.

Vietcong and Taliban were an ocean away from us. Hamas is next door to them. The VC and Taliban were not an existential threat to us. Hamas is an existential threat to Israel.

Israel needs to break Hamas and try to stay with purity of arms logic

Bigger problem is you still have 2 million crazy Palestinians in refugee camp on your borders you’re stuck with

So back to mowing the lawn and expecting more terrorism at some point

and Israeli reprisals which don’t always have such great optics like in 2018 when palis tried their version of the green march and it worked out not so good for either side

If I were betting I’d call this a forlorn hope for peace ever

Only solution I see

The world takes enough palis everywhere in small numbers so they can’t be too strong anywhere to gather steam

Keep minimum in Israel and make it all one state solution and Israel maintains steady proportional majority as Jewish homeland

And Jewish women there start having large families

I don’t think two state is viable and there’s the settlers on west bank

If you don’t do something at some point in twenty years there will be 4-5 million of these maniacs festering in Gaza

And no amount of walls and robotic machine guns and control is going to work

And Israel will be scorned for it

The developing world has it in for us in case nobody has figured that out yet

We’ve let too many of these primitive cultures in

And Israel is more at the red hot center of it facing a less developed lower iq peoples and more absolutist in goals

Does anyone here really think containing them in camps ad infinitum will prevail

This last atrocity is horrid but it’s just one of many since it all started and neither side is guiltless though the Arabs are far worse no question of that

So if Israel sacrifices a thousand or so of its people every few years, that will satisfy the latest muslim gang at war with them and they can have peace with all muslims? What kind of low life tries to guilt trip a Nation into restraint in a situation like this?
Restraint was what Hamas should have been forced to exert. The Nations that are angry need a lesson in acceptable behavior and consequences. The only shame is that America has no President and has reduced gravitas under the pretender. There is no compromise with that kind of evil, either accept death or eliminate the evil. Arab countries won’t even take the refugees but stood by and used the situation to try & eliminate Israel.

I don’t see Israel as trying to exterminate Palestinians, only to put Hamas out of commission. Hamas is the danger to the Palestinians; they use their civilians as shields.
