“Best documentary series ever, “Connections”.”
Excellent! With James Burke.
“Best War Documentary Series: “The World At War””
You got that right!
I have a Real Life Bubbles living right across from me.
Looks just like him, acts just like him, talks just like him...
Has his kitties...
I was just talking to him 20 minutes ago.
One of his cats just developed a bald spot.
If not for gov assistance he too would be living in a shed.
I see him all the time hauling boxes of cat litter from the Walgreens down the street.
But the ghost of Nero? Carol O’Conner in a dual role? Yeah, it silly.
Get Smart, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Mission Impossible, Johnny Quest, The Beverly Hillbillies, Secret Agent, Night Gallery, Tales From the Darkside, Hawaii 5-0 (the original), The Time Tunnel, Man is to name just a few!
“Best War Documentary Series: “The World At War” “
BBC version is better than the Time Life series.
I urge everyone to watch the BBC series. Very good at explaining the origins of WW II, and does a great following the timeline of the war.
Dick Van Dyke was one of my favorites. It was clever and pretty sophisticated for its time.
I would say now though that Indy Neidell’s Series on YouTube has probably surpassed any TV Documentary.
Both the WWI and WWII series.
Dick Van Dyke Show, I Love Lucy, Andy Griffith, Little House on the Prairie

The Dick Van Dyke Show, no question.

Chuck Barris was a flipping genius.

Lots of good ones here. I’ll add “Northern Exposure.”
Nobody mentioned my favorite show of all time:
The Shield.
Seven full seasons made to be binge-watched—the ultimate adrenaline rush—never lets up...
Sci-fi: Babylon Five mentioned earlier in the thread
Second favorite police show: The Wire
and of course Breaking Bad—every time I watch it I see many new things—brilliant series.
My two cents...
Gun smoke.
I Dream of Genie.

I read through all of the comments and no one mentioned “The Wonder Years”. Shocked and surprised!
