I DO. Doc said stop the sweets, so I tried the substitutes for a short time. My body told me it was not natural, so I stopped. Doc says you’re going to have a stroke if you don’t cute the sugar. I still didn’t cut the sugar and I kept growing older and feeling strong. I started certain vitamins and using sugar and most of all I started walking. Now they say cholesterol does not cause strokes. I did stop some things. like soda drinks. Substituted water, Sweeten with Honey (mostly Manuka Honey}, So far I’m pushing 90 and have on pains or illness. Haven’t seen a doc for 3 years except the eye doc. Liston to your body and feed the weak sections.

From the link:

“However, because people in the study already had a lot of cardiovascular risk factors, it’s hard to generalize the study findings to healthy populations. Three-quarters of the study participants had high blood pressure or coronary artery disease, and one-fifth had diabetes.”

Sounds like what I said. Lots of fat/diabetic people use artificial sweeteners so of course it is “associated” with bad health outcomes!

Indeed.

We continue to use erythritol, stevia, xylitol, and allulose.

We don’t go out of our way to not use the others, but we don’t seek to buy them. If it’s in a drink machine at a restaurant and I can have some, I might, but I also like normal tea.

Dont usually drink soda but when I want one then I drink Zevia. Just stevia, none of the toxins.

If you try it, store it standing on its top, bottom up. Some of the flavors kind of settle to the bottom so you have to pour it in a glass or store it upside down.

Stored properly, I really like both of the root beer flavors, the ginger ale, the colas. A couple of the fruit flavors are OK, maybe the Dr Pepper in a bind. The Mt Dew needs work.

It is impossible unless I cook everything from scratch.
I substitute salt with mix of chili powder+garlic powder+onion powder. But just don’t have time or energy to cook everything from scratch. Regular exercise is saving my life at age 83. Still no issues with heart, strokes, kidneys or liver. I get blood work done every year. Even PSA is under 2.0 my HDL is low but so is my LDL. Total cholesterol staying under 160.

What do you think about Gatorade instead of soda?

Well then cook everything from scratch.

How can you not have the time or energy when you keep talking how healthy you are even though you went on disability at 57 because your health was just so bad?

Just think how healthy you will be then as you dance. Of course when your muscles start to twitch and you become mentally confused it might be a bit more of a challenge but I believe you can go totally sodium free for three months.

Of course that will not get the sodium out of your system, because, according to you, it never leaves. It is amazing how people manage to keep from turning to piles of salt.

But I am sure you can show us the way.

I guess I cant claim to really think anything in regards to Gatorade because I cant swear that Ive had any more recently than the early 80s. Back then my thoughts regarding it didnt have much to do with efficacy or formula, if its even the same, so I dont think I have much of value to add.

I think stevia is considered safe. Of course, it’s an herb, so pharmaceutical companies can’t make much money off of it.

And guess what?

I just checked.

Genotoxity studies have been done on stevia.

Papers aplenty.

But not the CoupFlu vaxxes.

Hmmmm....

That is a fascinating paper.

Especially the last bit.

The caveats are a hoot.

My God, these people are despicable.
