The family of former NBA player Brandon Hunter says the 42-year-old died suddenly on Tuesday after collapsing during a hot yoga session in Orlando, Fla.
Carolyn Cliett, the mother-in-law of Hunter, spoke to NBC News about the tragedy.
“It was hot yoga, and he did it regularly,” Cliett said. “He was in good shape as far as we know. We’re just shocked.” Hunter appeared in 67 total games for the Celtics and Magic during a two-season NBA career that spanned from 2003-05.

Young. Healthy. Sudden. Unexpected. Vax clot.
The automatic assumption now.
My three picks in order for Howie Carr’s Death Pool:
1. Hunter Biden.
2. Kamala Harris.
3. Brandon Biden.
Have you noticed how all of these young athletes are dropping dead at a young age and all of the great musicians and movie stars from the 60s are “tragically” dying. HOWEVER! NOT ONE DAMN SIGNIFICANT POLITICIAN HAS BITTEN THE DUST! What The Flock?
How does “hot yoga” differ from yoga yoga? And is there a “cold, refreshing” yoga?
It was created by a weird cult leader type largely to get access to women. Other than that the temperature in the building is much higher, and there’s a lot of cardio level pushing to it. Death doing hot yoga aren’t exactly common, but they aren’t unheard of.
The room has an elevated temperature, although I don’t know how.
Perhaps saline shots?
Did he get his final booster?
I had 4 jabs since February 2020.
My daily exercise continues at age 83 without a single health issue.

The trick is never over-exert yourself. I learned that bitter lesson when my doctor cousin, at age early 34, died after a run on the beach. This was in 1962. He was in good shape, not fat, and helped me survive 30%+ mortality attack of smallpox. He also cured my chronic infection deep inside my knee which other doctor could not.
True on exertion, but young folks like to exert. Not all will have a clot reaction, but a certain percentage will.
Gee, I’m perplexed.

Wel there’s this YouTube shorts video that keeps popping up of a busty chick in a flimsy top doing her yoga poses, but that’s probably not the same thing.
Brandon Hunter? Was his middle name Joe?
Probly not.

If you want to watch women doing a sweaty yoga workout... Be safe and watch it on a TV while laying on a couch in your own home. Your chances of suffering from heart failure will be greatly reduced. Signing up for an actual class in hot yoga is just asking for trouble.
I tried Hot Yoga twice.
Second time it took me 2 weeks to recover and nearly was hospitalized.
It DOES speed weight loss but it can be dangerous unless you are very careful.
Room temp is above 100 deg.
Here in AZ above 110.
