Was the Moon Landing Faked? This man believes it was! (Video)
Valuetainment ^ | Patrick Bet-David, Bart Sibrel

Posted on 07/31/2023 6:20:48 AM PDT by Jan_Sobieski

Patrick Bet-David sits down with Bart Sibrel, an American author and fil maker who has written, produced, and directed works in support of the belief that the Apollo Moon Landings between 1969 and 1972 were staged by NASA under the control of the CIA…

If the US could have faked the moon landing with 1969 video technology, the Russians would have done so too. They didn’t.

I know I’ve read that NASA lost the plans for the Saturn V, but our technology today is so much better, so much more efficient, that we really don’t need 50+ year old tech.

It's true, we don't need it, but it's interesting to see what things were like back then.

There are a bunch of videos on YouTube showing a group of nerds (not an insult) attempting to restore an Apollo LEM guidance computer to operating condition. A good starting point is here:

There was another speech prepared in case of catastrophe, for President Kennedy, and it doesn’t read like a bamboozle.

Surely the original mathematics that were used to convince the first astronauts a moon landing was possible exist. The historic on-the-fly calculations and adjustments it took to accomplish moon landings would be memorialized too and then preserved like the original US Constitution.

Nope.

(It is possible to believe the moon landings were faked and the earth is round at the same time.)

Why, why in God’s name would the Soviet Union have allowed such horse crap as a faked lunar landing to stand? They would have had a field day with this information in their never ending propaganda war.

Yes they strapped a bottle rocket to a Budweiser can and flew to the moon. Because that’s our best propulsion system. 🙄

If the moon landing was real, then where was Alice Kramden?

Yours is the the very best way to respond on a thread like this.

Then again, there are many otherwise, apparently sane people that truly believe if you don't turn off your air conditioner when it's hot, you are destroying the Earth, just as there are many otherwise, apparently sane people who believe -- truly believe -- that we are being visited by UFOs (little green men with ray guns soon to follow). I find all this to be a sometimes welcomed diversion from reality; entertaining at least.

Huh? This sounds like made-up pseudohistory.

There were no "historic on-the-fly calculations," and it wasn't necessary to "convince" the "astronauts a moon landing was possible".

The orbital mechanics involved weren't some black art requiring "original mathematics" and "historic on-the-fly calculations". It's straightforward Newtonian mechanics, understood since the 17th century.

It _was_ necessary to pick between three competing solutions (direct ascent, earth-orbit rendezvous, lunar-orbit rendezvous) for how to achieve one. That decision process is well-documented in the historical literature, and the people involved -- none of whom were astronauts -- are well known. Wikipedia has a pretty good article on it.

“The Russians and the Chinese would have been screaming about it, LOL (had it been faked).”

The Russians for sure did DF (Direction Finding) on the signals and if they hadn’t been coming from the Moon, you’d have heard about it.

Absolutely.

Yet another reason the old Liberty(?) ships tried to bounce signals off the Moon to not give away their location

Reportedly, keeping the dish aimed at the Moon proved problemtic

In every Big Lie, I’m interested in seeing the fraction of Truth that The Big Lie is engineered to generate opposition to.

Take space aliens, for instance.

We’re to believe the Big Lie that we’re being visited by high-tech beings from outer space piloting uber-advanced spacefaring craft through our atmosphere, and occasionally landing to snatch some Skeeter From The Sticks and pick his brain.

Utter Folderol.

But what’s the Truth that this Lie is designed to cultivate disdain for?

I suggest the Space Aliens Lie is engineered to induce disdain for the existence of ANY non-terrestrial life of ANY kind, which — necessarily — would include belief in God. No matter which texts you read, He nor any of His angles or whatnot are from anyplace around here.

To wit: He’s an “alien,” a bona fide E.T.

So, to combat humans embracing belief in God, we craft the utterly ridiculous notion of little green men in flying saucers.

It’s like psychological inoculation.

Certainly letting that lie go to seed for generations — though it’s slower-acting — is cheaper and does far less reputational damage than maintaining a nationwide suite of concentration camps, and packing Believers into them like the CCP does.

Well done!

As Dennis Prager noted recently: In America, "experts say ..." and "studies show ..." have replaced "the Lord sayeth ..." Brilliant observation.

“I know one of the Astronauts who walked/rode on the moon.”

If he faked it because the Deep State threatened to murder his family I am sure he would brief you.

Lol.

You sound like a true believer. No sweat, I was big believer too.

No adjustments needed??? No convincing of participants needed???

What speed does the earth travel around the sun? (67,000 mph)
What speed does the moon travel around the earth? (2,288 mph)
Earths rotation is (1,000 mph) at the equator.
How fast is a rocket ship? (25,000 mph)

I would want to understand the mathematics completely before I stepped into a rocket ship. It would take some convincing.
