thanks. I was losing about 6 inches of land a year. So, I planted a couple of silver maple cuttings(twigs), in that open space you see, and damned if they didn’t grow full out. now I have the property more secluded and I slowed the erosion.
Of course, it now gives critters more cover and that’s ok.
The city took down 4 silver maples, they were at the end of their shelf life. We lost the shade on the front and side yards, and the grass went to hell in a handbasket.
The city only recently replaced a couple of trees a couple of years ago. We’ll never live to see the full effect of those plantings, but that’s ok. Nice ranch (no stairs) for our retirement.

Something noteworthy about the Hunter Biden plea agreement on the tax charges.
IMO, no way the prosecutors wrote the Statement of Facts. That was written by defense counsel because there is a purpose behind it, and it’s written in a style that I have NEVER seen come from a prosecutor. It is not something I would have ever written in a million years.
Compare that with Jan 6 Plea Agreements. The Prosecutors write the statement of facts, and it is give to the defendant own a “Take it or Leave it” basis. No substantive changes are agreed to. Many minor tweaks, but nothing that improves the defendant’s position for sentencing.

BREAKING: Judge Maryellen Noreika is not messing around as she is now threatening to have Hunter Biden arrested if he fails to comply with new conditions.
If Hunter consumes alcohol or drugs including marijuana, he will be arrested & be prosecuted for contempt of court.
This will almost be impossible for Hunter to avoid considering he is a career addict.
“Violating any of the foregoing conditions of release may result in the immediate issuance of a warrant for your arrest, a revocation of your release, an order of detention, a forfeiture of any bond, and a prosecution for contempt of court and could result in imprisonment, a fine, or both,” the conditions of release signed by Noreika read.
Avoiding drugs and alcohol for Hunter is like telling someone not to breathe.
