It certainly would not be hard to see how psyllium could help you, if you are dealing with these conditions.

With the colon hobbled by any of the diseases mentioned, I can certainly see why it would help pass the fecal matter.
With so many people affected by these diseases, one wonders why science hasn’t been able to come up with a cure or at least a medicine that would force it back into remission.
I’m surprise low dose steroids isn’t used more often than it is to give the patient longer lasting relief. I bet most patients would prefer it along with any side effects to the obvious pain, symptoms, and general discomfort of any of the IBD diseases that make them a prisoner in their homes.

Psyllium fiber works wonders. Makes me feel 30 years younger when I sit on the porcelain furniture.

“Psyllium fiber works wonders.”
Agree. About 10 years ago one person on Amazon wrote a review of some of the psyllium capsules, and it was so funny. The reviewer said that he had “found the Holy Grail of bowel movements”. That was when it was possible to comment on the reviews. And his review was a big hit.

Azathiopine. Asacol. Prednisone. People who suffer from colitis, like people who suffer from back pain, must try everything. Resveratrol works, too, along with prayer and sleep. Colitis is an inflammation.

Frankincense (Boswellia Serrata) nails most all ulcerative disorders.
Been around for thousands of years. Few side effects. Inexpensive and you don’t need to keep taking it once you’re healed…. Boohoo big pharma

If you have UC, you have no trouble passing fecal matter. Once the stool hits an ulcer, it goes out fast.

I buy Metamucil in cinnamon snack treats. While I can’t vouch for its benefits as a fiber,it’s nice to have when needing a snack.

I’m glad it’s working for you. Every ‘body’ is different so nothing works for 100% of the people. It looks like your meds work for about 49% so that’s pretty good.

Frankincense (Boswellia Serrata) nails most all ulcerative disorders. Looks like it's for external use only. How does that help?
