With the colon hobbled by any of the diseases mentioned, I can certainly see why it would help pass the fecal matter.
With so many people affected by these diseases, one wonders why science hasn’t been able to come up with a cure or at least a medicine that would force it back into remission.
I’m surprise low dose steroids isn’t used more often than it is to give the patient longer lasting relief. I bet most patients would prefer it along with any side effects to the obvious pain, symptoms, and general discomfort of any of the IBD diseases that make them a prisoner in their homes.

If you have UC, you have no trouble passing fecal matter. Once the stool hits an ulcer, it goes out fast.
