This win probably meant more to Andy Reid than anybody.
He used to be the Eagles head coach. They fired him after a bad season and he went to KC......................
I’m from the Philly area, and was at the Super Bowl when Chunky Soup blew the ending. Terrell Owens was great.
The backstory of Andy Reid isn’t so hot. I assure you, Reid isn’t ever winning Father of the Year.
It’s just a game in the end.
Somebody can make a lot of money publishing the times of the non-football distractions which have become overly abundant and annoying and not at all worth watching.
I switched over to Animal Planet for the Puppy Bowl and it was played with commercials
Why? did he beat his children in public?.........................
Drugs.
I have known other families like that.
One of our closest friends only son OD’d at age 23.....................
Terrible thing.
Two people I was friends with died from relapse during lockdown. No meetings.
I won’t forget about it.
I had known this young man since he was a preschooler, and his sisters were friends with my daughter, was in HS band together.
It was a shock, to say the least..................
So long as 1 person got it. Really, my favorite type of joke to tell is where only 1 person laughs.
I’m sorry to hear that. And it could just be some one time issue as well.
Either way it sucks.
😉🤢🤔😜......................................
I was flipping back and forth between the game and The Martian, one of my favorite movies, despite the presence of so many woke actors.
They got by with a lot of would-be penalties ... false starts, holding, etc. So I can't figure out why anyone is complaining - especially when the guy admitted that he was holding on that particular play.
Oh, please. They got by with quite a bit that weren’t called.
The Chiefs wanted a first down, not a touchdown, because of the hold, the receiver wasn’t open, and Mahomes threw the ball away.
Um... yea. That's my point. WORSE than that was NOT CALLED, for the entire game. Not until, the one time it would be the determining factor in the game.
That's 'referee interference'. It's unexplainable interference.
Those weren't "calls". ie; no flags were thrown. They were "rulings", that HAD to be made. Either in, or out.. catch, or no catch. I think they were all made correctly. All were close, yes. But, eventually, the correct call was made. The only one they got wrong IMO (and the opinion of the retired ref on the broadcast) was when they over-turned the call of "catch" on the field for Devonta Smith's incredible long catch on the sideline.
There were hardly ANY penalty flags thrown in the game last night. I saw plenty of holding, by BOTH teams. None were called.. until, it was THE deciding factor in the game.
I imagine that if the Chiefs had gone for a go-ahead touchdown, leaving 1:30+ on the clock for the Eagles to have some decent chance of coming back,
Not sure I get your point here? Without the holding call, it would have been 4th and 8, with 1:40 left, in a tie game. I don't know what Andy would have done. But, I suspect he would have kicked a FG.
That would have given Philly the ball, with ~ 1:30 left, no timeouts, needing a FG to tie, a TD to win. That would have been excting to see play out. Probably,KC still wins? But, it would be a MUCH BETTER outcome.
And my point is why complain about the one when they got by with more all through the game. Many that could easily have killed a drive.
Because "the one" determined the final outcome of the game. And, it was not consistent with the way the rest of the game was called.
