DeSantis is IMO all political window dressing. His LQJXYZ law only prohibits sexual ideology from being taught in K-3rd grade, when it should be outlawed from school altogether. Such a topic is for the parents not school. His election reforms are weak due to the fact that Florida still uses voting machines. With a Republican controlled state legislature in Tallahassee he could easily rid the state of the biggest voting fraud loophole still being used the voting machines. California counties are starting to get rid of dominion voting machines, so what is stopping DeSantis? Also Floridians need to raise hell with their state legislators due to them even considering HB 53 (2023)– Agreement Among the States to Elect the President by National Popular Vote | Florida House of Representatives

And DeSantis nominated Dave Kerner, a Palm Beach democrat, as the Executive Director of Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. A position that overseas drivers licensing in Florida which can have a direct impact on voter rolls.
DeSantis hasn’t said anything about running for president yet. One hopes that he is a decoy meant to bring all the globalist corporatist republicans and their donor country club set, masquerading as American First republicans or conservatives, out in the open. Plus if he did try to run in 2024 it would defeat everything he has stated so far about what he has accomplished as Florida’s governor, by abandoning the state due to donor class demands. We live in interesting times.
Every time I conclude, as you have, that something doesn’t make sense, I force myself to remember that their end goal is to kill us all, and they don’t seem particularly devoted to any one method. They’ll poison us, starve us, freeze us, turn us on each other. It’s all a game to them and, as long as we die, they’re good with the wide variety of methods. The variety of attacks also keeps us distracted so we lose focus and fail to join forces to fight them.

I agree with you. As I ‘walked ’ through the forest and finally got to a point and saw where I had been walking, it became clear. All the brambles are designed to keep me stumbling, looking down, blindfolded, and afraid to look up. Kinda like Alice, Kek.
