Fascism is here and now.
That’s not good PR…
>>How does a private company get access to facial recognition data?
Not that hard - most lawyer’s websites have pictures of their attorneys right on the website.
...and MSG previously warned the legal firm - in writing - that non of their lawyers were allowed in the building at least until the legal action they were taking against them were resolved. I don’t have a problem with that; why would you want to have people that are currently suing you come into your business?
I work with a lot of doctors, many refuse to see lawyers as patients - I also don’t have a problem with that.
Social Credit.
Big Business and Big Government, which are becoming virtually indistinguishable, will decide where you can go, what you can buy and how you will live your life. Those who think incorrectly will be out in the cold.
Mao was a piker.
Recall a liquor store chain using facial recognition to minimally alert management if a person entering the store had been previously caught shoplifting. They also had tied their facial recognition system to their electronically controlled doors, enabling them to prevent repeat offenders.
The facial recognition angle is disturbing, but I have no problem with the company excluding people for this reason. In fact, I think the U.S. would probably be a much better place if more business establishments operated this way.
James Dolan feeds at the public trough but denies the same public access to a building they subsidize.
Let James Dolan pay all the taxes on the "his" properties before he bans anyone.
It’s illegal too.
How did he have access to facial recognition software like that?
“Conlon said she was just a mother taking her daughter to see a Christmas show”
Nice try, lawyer.
I support this guy. I love it when businesses turn away people.
"The New Jersey based law firm, Davis, Saperstein and Solomon, has been involved in personal injury litigation against a restaurant venue now under the umbrella of MSG Entertainment, for years."
Nope, sorry, you banned an non-litigant, using what was almost certainly Chinese AI (a generic looking woman so it had to be top-notch AI that was pre-loaded with everyone at that firm), from a venue handsomely aided by public dollars? Nope nope nope.
