One thing that is amazing about this forum is that there is such a broad cross-section of people and professions, that you can find an answer on nearly any topic you choose. This thread is intended to collect a list of people and what their expertise is. Sound off and let me know what you think you are an expert in!
I'll start. I'm skilled in computer development, particularly C#.NET, MS SQL, Informatica, Azure ADO (CI/CD pipelines and repos and the like), and Agile practices.... among many other things.
Sign.
I build giraffe patterned stilts that make impregnating a giraffe much easier.
I know ten times as much as someone who doesn’t know nothing.
Nah. I'm a rank amateur.
Catfish, older Johnson and Evinrude motors, problem solver, goat roping, feud starter and all around $hit disturber.
Nice list. I may reach out if I need motor help.
I’m intimidated by you guys but I can claim knowledge in art—techniques and history— design and woodwork; used to teach the first two.
I identify as a teenager, I know everything and am an expert in everything.
C would be the obvious answer. It might be old, but it’s still the one that most directly translates to the assembly language that your code is going to get compiled to. I know lots of super high performance games at Nintendo are written in C++, but there’s still a lot of overhead there. It really depends on your target device. If you want to run on multicore x86 beasts, you could just about get away with anything. But if you want to run in resource constrained devices (Atmel chips, small ARM chips, etc.) then C is your friend.
I’ve heard it said that, if you want to know how to impregnate a giraffe, someone on Free Republic will be able to tell you the height of the ladder you’d need.

Is the giraffe on level ground? Ladder safety is important. Make sure you have a spotter at the base of the ladder (good luck finding one for the aforementioned task).
The perfect mole
If I were to write an operating system for today’s world, what language should I use?

Mandarin? Arabic?
I am an expert in not providing useful answers to probing questions.
"C'mere, big boy..."
I’m pretty good at retirement. Now excuse me while I go take a nap as the beer chills.
Struck a sensitive if not ignored point: putting yourself on a public list revealing your skills and expertise is an excellent source for theose who WILL SOON be rounding up the ‘enemies’ of the WEF ‘great reset’.
You are correct, in my opinion. There is only one choice. After all these years, C/C++ is still the king. My choice for Windows development is still Delphi. I have Visual Studio and SQL Server for my web stuff.
