Trump can turn it around with an inspired VP choice!

Sen. Rand Paul.

The only choice!

It would also shut up McConnell. He's a Kentuckian or will he try and still sabotage their campaign?

Thoughts?

I’ll wait and see who’s nominated 2 years from now.

Have you seen Kari Lake in action? Best natural politician I have ever seen. Unfortunately, she’s a RINO. It does not matter who the candidates are if the election fraud isn’t somewhat mitigated. I think Lake, on a national stage, highlighting the laughable Arizona “election”, is your best hope to fix the system enough to avoid the next steal. I love Paul, he might well be my first choice for the top job. If the ticket ends up being Trump/Paul, McConnell will do everything possible to defeat MAGA.

I think Trump is going to have trouble getting someone to run with him.

I think, given recent events and “changes of heart,” he’ll select Tulsi “The Trojan Horse” Gabbard.

Trump is tainted right now and anyone with clout will not be close to him as a VP pick.

Then someone (a guy, NOT a girl) who HATES politics and the political culture and stays faithful and close to Trump and the American dream of freedom from government is probably the guy.

Hillary was way ahead in the polls before the 2008 primaries began. But then a guy named Obama joined the fight and went on to win.

Trump is fading as more and more Republicans become openly critical of him

Kristi Noem

She has a book out and she seems impressive.

From Amazon:
South Dakota governor Kristi Noem tells her rough and tumble story of growing up on a ranch, and how a blessed life of true grit taught her how to lead.

“We don’t complain about things, Kristi. We fix them.” Taking her father’s words to heart, South Dakota’s first woman governor Kristi Noem shares heartfelt – and heartbreaking – lessons on making things right in the world, from her childhood on a farm in the vastness of rural America, to the marbled halls of Congress, to the national spotlight amid a global pandemic.

From humorous barnyard battles with feisty cattle and rodeo horses, to the tragic and untimely death of her larger-than-life father, to her decision to her decision to return and run the farm and ranch with her family, Noem invites readers into a life defined by work, faith, and helping others. Noem’s reflections are offered in the familiar, unvarnished voice of a woman who later defied Washington’s most powerful politicians and led the people of her small, hardscrabble state through natural disasters, the pain of a global pandemic, and the fear and turmoil that gripped the nation after.

While filled with plenty of candid observations and refreshingly frank assessments of the country’s leading figures, the memoir’s most powerful moments nevertheless come from honest glimpses into marriage, motherhood, and leadership in an unpredictable time.

Far from a book about politics, Not My First Rodeo is the story of a life lived so far – with characters as richly textured as the Black Hills, and reflections as gentle and powerful as America itself.

And exactly why do you think he needs to turn thing around?

Who have you been listening too? McConnell? Accosta? CNN?

All campaigns go through ups and downs.

I’m not worried.

I think the VP pick will be important.

The candidate doesn’t pick his running mate. The party leadership does.

If this were July 2024 and Trump had the GOP nomination locked up, I’d put money on Kristi Noem as the VP candidate. That may change, but that’s how I see it right now.

Most people don’t actually care about the VP. They mean nothing, they do nothing. Best case scenario they might help a little in their home state.

Yes, I like Paul in the Senate. I also wish Jeff Sessions would have stayed in the Senate.

No GOP candidate can win electorally with the current election system and rules if engagement. Why is that so difficult to understand?

Probably not. VP is usually the end of the career. Sitting VPs rarely win, the twice they have they only went 1 term. It’s a dead end job.

If Trump is the nominee, he will lose to Biden or whoever they run.

Trump did his job by not getting Hillary elected and getting a few conservatives on the Supreme Court.

He’s done. Time to get off the Trump train.
