This feels harder than the last loss 9 years ago, maybe because it’s been a very long and difficult 5 Q years with no happy ending in my immediate sight. I was definitely a more cheerful and optimistic person before I learned of child sacrifice, the depth and breadth of human trafficking worldwide, and the utter lawlessness and corruption of the majority of world leaders, politicians and those paid to protect us from all of them. None of that even touches upon the relatively new awareness that the people who own all of them want us all dead and are implementing policies to make it happen. My tears may not all be for Jewel. I cry for all of us caught up in this evil whirlwind.

One big victory from last night, with taking over the House & the purse, is no more money for the derp operation known as Ukraine.
It’s a major blow for the derp state machine.
On the plus side, it looks like Kelly Tshibaka will edge out the Murk...but we won’t know for sure for a couple of weeks.
Got a flyer in the mail this morning - Murk (R) and Peltola (D) endorsed each other. Looks like Murk lost and Peltola won hands down.
My take is that Murk lost on 2A and Peltola won on abortion. Sarah is just not popular in AK.
I think I experienced it just an hour ago but I'm not sure.
I brought clothes into my local dry cleaners and lady at the counter, a Chinese woman in her 60s who I've never chatted with before, said to me "Everything go up!"
I said "How do you mean?"
She looked at me a little surprised and said "You don't see the prices in the stores, the supermarkets? Everything more expensive."
I agreed with her and said it was terrible and left it at that.
I wondered what might have provoked her as she was definitely angry. Then I wondered if she was expressing her bewilderment at the election results.
This was in Brooklyn Heights, NY.

True, but the MAGA Reps will not be a part of that & we got more in this time to fight against the money laundering or worse. Plus, Pelousi will not be calling the shots. It will be interesting to see who the new speaker will be.
Two R candidates split vote giving D the victory. That in a nutshell is Ranked Choice Voting, divide and conquer. If either Bergich or Palin were the only R candidate the D would not have won.
