Two R candidates split vote giving D the victory. That in a nutshell is Ranked Choice Voting, divide and conquer. If either Bergich or Palin were the only R candidate the D would not have won.On the plus side, it looks like Kelly Tshibaka will edge out the Murk...but we won’t know for sure for a couple of weeks.
Got a flyer in the mail this morning - Murk (R) and Peltola (D) endorsed each other. Looks like Murk lost and Peltola won hands down.
My take is that Murk lost on 2A and Peltola won on abortion. Sarah is just not popular in AK.
I think we shoould stop looking for reasons to excuse the forecasted “red wave”.
Let’s get busy utilizing our win in the House and Senate.
