Aspirin is cheap - but the Warfarin /s

Actually this article is poorly written. It’s not that taking aspirin ALONE to thin your blood is bad - but if you’re already taking Warfarin then you’re doing enough.

Ginger is a natural blood thinner. One cuppa ginger tea a day keeps the cardiologist at bay (of course you need to watch your fats and triglycerides too)

Don’t take aspirin if your on a blood thinner is not news. It goes along with not taking green leafy vegetables, NSAID’s etc. They have different mechanisms of action that may compliment each other.

I actually know someone in our area who died from taking aspirin on an empty stomach recently. It stuck to the wall of his stomach near a vessel or something and he bled to death internally. The guy was a veterinarian too so you would think he wouldn’t do that.

How did we Boomers ever survive to be adults, being given orange-flavored aspirin as small children and then regular aspirin, after we acquired the taste for them... along with playing in the back seat while one of our parents drove 70 mph on a two lane highway... and falling off bikes while not wearing protective helmets and knee and elbow pads?

Switch to acetyl salicylic acid. Works the same.

I have 5 heart stents, so the daily 81mg Ecotrin aspirin is recommended as part of my 36 pill regimen — 19 in morning, 18 in evening, daily.

According to recent research, stopping the use of aspirin while taking a blood thinner reduces the risk of bleeding.

Oh gee, you mean taking two blood thinners at once increases your chances of bleeding by thinning your blood?

Well hurry and alert the media!

Good grief.

The stupid.

It burns.

Bull$hit. This all out attack on aspirin started the minute it was first identified as useful for covid.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8556685/

Aspirin has been a miracle drug for a century +. The minute it was suggested as one of the therapies for covid, it was attacked all out. Anything that is part of a treatment protocol is a threat to the “vaccine”.

Blue Cross Blue Shield is a health insurance company so why would they do a study? I haven’t had time to figure out the underlying reasons but I’m sure it’s money related and has nothing to do with your actual health. I take one 81 MG aspirin a day. No blood thinners. As per instruction of my doctor.

“Taking Aspirin Could Be Doing More Harm Than Good “

Aspirin cost 1 to 5 cents per day, so OF COURSE big Pharma and their agents in government/academe will say it’s harmful.

My doctor is also an “associate professor of internal medicine at U-M Medical School”, where I have been receiving most of my medical care for the last 40, or so, years. At my annual physical last year, I was the one who started a discussion about my daily aspirin usage. I brought up the fact that the FDA was no longer recommending daily aspirin use as a preventative for heart disease. He agreed that I should stop using it, which I have done.

The point is that I had to bring it up. He did not volunteer it.
