To say that of all the Young Putineers you have been the biggest disappointment is an understatement. To justify Russian hegemony because they have “dominated” the region is nothing but rank propaganda. What is now Ukraine actually predates Russia. The rulers of Russia expanded the Grand Duchy of Moscow by conquest into the Tsardom of Russia, the Russian Empire, and finally the Soviet Union. Ask the Poles or the Baltic States how they feel about it.
The dismal state of the Russian military manifested in their lack of supplies and equipment alone demonstrates that Russia is every bit as corrupt as Ukraine if not more so. Yet only one of those two countries is a multiple aggressor in wars of conquest.

They started courting Central America; they already had Cuba, dubbed the regional seat of something called, say,”the East-West Economic Security Initiative.” It became obvious that this alliance was the way to future prosperity.
What would, or should we do? Respect their sovereignty or preserve of our own?
One other thing: you didn’t mention why you are willing to make common cause with Biden, Cheney, Obama, Soros etc. Why all of sudden sign on with their project knowing their history and their intentions?

Biden just happens to make common cause. My only concern here is that an aggressive power like Russia under Putin doesn’t benefit by waging war in an 18th Century style. Risk is a board game and shouldn’t be played with real countries.

Asking why many people here believe that in this particular situation Russia is in right and the Biden administration and its neocons are in the wrong would have been a reasonable question, except that those here who oppose the Biden administration on this have explained this ad nauseam and are amused at how allegedly “solid conservatives” are posting utter nonsense from our government/NATO controlled media as if suddenly WAPO, Daily Mail, and Yahoo have become credible sources.

Bear in mind, there are 2 separate issues: 1. which side is right and which is wrong and 2. accuracy of daily MSM reporting. The term “rooting” came from another poster who asked why Scott Ritter was rooting for Putin. So I asked why so many posters here are rooting for Putin. Which many are, though some deny it.
