EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.
From FaceBook:
Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. He then went back to the mine and got guys to push the car to the guard shack so they could plug in to charge. ... See more

I was having “get a lot of people organized” dreams, a lingering effect of last week. I’m thinking of going out and digging up my beets now.
Is it JUST when you’re online in your browser, or is it in every program on your computer?
LOL!!!
I love it!! What a statement, for those who may be inclined to read it.
Good luck and prayers up.
So far, it’s anywhere I type that isn’t a separate program, like writing a letter in OpenOffice.
It happens here and on Facebook, and here is where it’s most distracting because I spend more time here. I’ve tried to follow the instructions to shut it off, but I’ve gone through the entire procedure three times with no success.
I don’t recall what my dreams were, just that they were vivid and cluttered. Lots of people doing lots of things in lots of scenes.
I got my dainties hung up to dry and straightened away the living room (I had laid out my church outfit on Saturday, and it was still here this morning) and thought I might try another loaf of bread. It’s not quite as cold today, so I may have better luck with it.
The bed still has to be made, but I hadn’t realized the sheets weren’t quite dry when I came home (neuropathy in my fingers) so the bedroom has Stuff in it.
Excellent work!
Yeah, I’m always afraid of jinxing something like that when I announce my stats.
I thought, when I first began to play, that my Sixes would take the lead and stay there. But the Foursies are ahead. I need to change that!
Owrks for me!
I did, but that starting letter and the list of letters I had eliminated meant there were few options.
I’m about to take Kathleen to Cub Scouts. I dug up my beets today. They’re soaking in a bucket of water, and I’ll process them tomorrow.
Beets. The best vegetable!
I was sleeping so well, (I crashed, in fact!) and a text came in. I’m thinking it’s midnight and who dares to do that, and it was the bishop, asking if the Young Men and Young Women can come caroling Wednesday night.
I guess I’d better make some cookies! That’s hard work, that caroling is!
*tagline*
People shouldn’t text at midnight, ever.
What a bunch of pretty kittehs!!
Good morning.
I hope you had a good night with no cats!
I feel like I could have slept another three hours or so.
I’m going to make cookies for the carolers, but I don’t know if it will be today or tomorrow.
Good morning, Epople!
Friday the 13th falls on a Tuesday this month, so I hope it brings you all good luck.

Yes, my 4s are far in the lead, and I think that will remain the case...
