H Street NE was pretty dangerous and then the geniuses decided a 12 block light rail down the middle of the street would solve everything. Developers bought into the useless train promise by building up the bricks and sticks along the corridor but the bad elements have never completely left. Just has helped bring wealthier victims to the neighborhood.

You mean the new woke name of the team didn’t protect him?.......well that’s weird.

All kidding aside I hear when you go into that area you litterally take your life in your own hands.....and it doesn’t matter what time of day or night.

He was driving a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat.

If he was driving a VW Golf, he would have been 'safe'............ 😜

Yeah I was just thinking about that.....why in the world would you drive an $80k vehicle in a crap hole like that?

Just asking for trouble IMO.

Does anyone think that the two suspected Yutes used a legally registered “GUN”?

Did they comply with ANY of the following to be ALLOWED to carry a gun in DC??

To be a registered gun owner, you must:

Be 21 years old
Have no convictions for weapons offenses
Have no convictions of a felony of any kind
Not be under indictment for a violent crime or weapons offense
Not have a history of violent behavior in the last five years
Not have any convictions for drug offenses, assault or threats, two or more DUI violations, domestic violence, or stalking
Not have been acquitted under the insanity defense
Not have been committed to a mental institution in the last five years
Not have a physical condition that would make operating a firearm unsafe
Not be found negligent in a firearm accident that killed or injured another.

I bet the “Gun” was unregistered. Sorry, couldn’t resist.

Just looked up the story on this. Fox describes the suspects but will only say medium complexion and long dreads. Doesn’t sound like white pasty faced honkeys to me.

“If he was driving a VW Golf, he would have been ‘safe’.”

I drive a 2001 VW Golf. 55K miles. One hood ‘ding’ from hitting a deer (he stuck the landing and ran off) and some ‘keying’ down one side. I have yet to be car-jacked. ;)

Some ‘revitalized’ neighborhood they got there; a classier class of victims these days.

No one noticed who wrote this? Kristinn?

Anyway, they waited for him to get back in the car, makes an argument to have an insane car alarm that you set off before you get in, or get a Tesla and summon it to an area with security.

Anacostia is in SE - this train was originally designed to create a direction connection from the Green Line which runs through Anacostia. Got my vaccine shot over there in a beautiful, brand new building and along perfectly just-completed roadways and had to drive around a drug addict lying in the parking lot.

Yeah I was just thinking about that.....why in the world would you drive an $80k vehicle in a crap hole like that?Ignorance or a presumption that black criminals would give him a pass because he's black.

To the carjackers credit, they do not discriminate. /s

“presumption that black criminals would give him a pass because he’s black”

Maybe in the past but not today.

When your in a world where criminals have no reservations about burglarizing Churches they don’t care who they steal from.

Police just broke up a burglary ring in Atlanta that was robbing celebrities including Mariah Carey and football players on the falcons......I imagine a lot of those victims were black.

iMaybe in the past but not today.

wokeness victimizes a young, successful, very hardworking black male by encouraging lawlessness and shaming everyone else into silence about the dangers of urban areas. Brian Robinson was a victim here and had to learn all this the hard way.
