Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz has found herself in a racism row with critics of her dimly lit Vogue portrait of Ketanji Brown Jackson claiming it demonstrates her repeated failure to light black stars 'properly'. Leibovitz proudly shared her two photos of the Supreme Court justice on Twitter this week after they were published on Vogue's website.

Then put her in front of something brighter, for crying out loud. Oh, and the dark brown coat hardly helps - just looks like one big mass of brown and black.
“Don’t these f’n losers have jobs or hobbies?”
This IS their job or hobby.
It’s dim, but the choice of the brown coat is bleh, too.
Nice! Thanks!
… repeated failure to light black stars ‘properly’...
Social justice verdict: Guilty
Social justice sentence: Death
This is KJB the judge that wouldn’t criticize the black supremacist group...which one of them attacked brutally on Chanukah on Monsey NY...

I thought she died in a kiln explosion?
Nobody forced Justice Jackson to have her picture taken by Annie Leibovitz. Nobody forced her to wear the unflattering brown coat. And finally, surely she could have stopped the pictures’ being released if she didn’t like them. Maybe she thinks they’re great, and that’s all that really matters.
LOL, I think you’re correct…
In practice, it means whatever the attacker wants it to mean, if they can convince a few leftist the attack promotes "woke" culture.
And if she photographed her too light, they would also say that is racist. Remember the photo of Beyonce for an advertisement? They screamed racism because they made her appear too white. I love it! I hope they keep it up because all they are doing is turning more and more people off from this woke BS.
I know little about photography but is isn’t a flattering picture at all.
There looks like a great sunset, don’t let curtains hide it. She is wearing what amounts to a skin tone outfit, and the lighting is terrible, black or white.
Why would the SCJ even sign off on such questionable work.....she isn’t blind.
But everything is racist.......
My father was a good amateur photography in the black & white days and he said it was hard to get a good photo of a black person.
When commies go after each other freakin hilarious
It’s a nice looking portrait.
Are they upset that it makes her look black?
Too bad I'm not a millionaire from my photo’s.
Just because black women are ugly it’s not the photographers fault.
Hanged
If it exists, it’s racist. 👎
She was immediately inundated with complaints from critics who said she'd failed to properly photograph Ketanji's skin, instead making her look too 'dark'.
How did we get a point where cherrypicking a handful of tweets is newsworthy?
I'm not going to waste my time on that Twitter thread but I'd bet I could easily find just as many tweets that thought the pics were great.
And not just this subject either, but seemingly everything now.
