Then put her in front of something brighter, for crying out loud. Oh, and the dark brown coat hardly helps - just looks like one big mass of brown and black.
Nobody forced Justice Jackson to have her picture taken by Annie Leibovitz. Nobody forced her to wear the unflattering brown coat. And finally, surely she could have stopped the pictures’ being released if she didn’t like them. Maybe she thinks they’re great, and that’s all that really matters.
Unless you know what you are doing, that's exactly what it looks like. A long time ago I posted a black woman's photo to a website, and her face was more or less missing, even after I edited the hell out of the image to increase the contrast between her facial features.
I'm STILL embarrassed by that photo.
