It was always unsustainable. The only question was how long the LGBT political movement would bask in the glory of its inarguably successful obliteration of traditional societal norms and sexual mores before they took the time to notice. But with #LGBdroptheT trending on Twitter multiple times over the course of the last week or two, it seems apparent that at least in certain quarters, the revolutionaries are doing what revolutionaries always do: turn on each other.

I've written on more than one occasion about what far more people than just I have been anticipating for quite some time. Namely, the inevitable clash between gay ideology and transgender theory. Transgenderism relies entirely upon the non-existence of a gender binary, assuming a sliding scale of gender identity that denies there even is such thing as truly "male" or truly "female." Needless to say, there can be no gay man if there is no such thing as a man. There can be no lesbian if there is no such thing as a woman.
Beyond just that, the transgender movement has brought excess cultural baggage that involves the erasure of sex distinctions in athletics, public locker rooms, bathrooms, dressing rooms, the denial of biological realities, coining of pretend pronouns with bizarre sounding names like zir, mix, and zhe, and even the attempted normalization of age-inappropriate drag performances for children.
None of that has anything to do with the original objectives, intents, and purposes of the lesbian, gay, and even bisexual equality movement. And it seems as though there is a growing, and increasingly vocal contingent of those individuals who have had enough.

That "slippery slope" admission is an interesting one. In the early days of opposition to the gay rights movement, conservatives warned that once traditional moral guideposts for sexuality were removed on the basis of emotional preferences, they could not later be arbitrarily thrown back down into the ground to deny other claims made upon the same basis. "Merry" is begrudgingly acknowledging that despite claims to the contrary, the conservative warning has indeed proved accurate.
Her embarrassment stems from how far it has gone.

There is also palpable anger surfacing from the transgender movement's appalling treatment of women and the entire concept of femininity.

Perhaps one of the most obvious examples of this is the silencing of women in athletics – from high school, through college, all the way to professional sports – a topic I've attempted to draw attention to on more than one occasion.
But it's important to note that the opposition isn't all superficial emotionalism. There's an emerging awareness of what I mentioned above – that trans ideology represents a fundamental threat to gay identity.

"Gay-denying" indeed. With such an awareness settling in, it's no wonder there is such anger manifesting within the alphabet alliance.

It's ironic, isn't it? As traditional conservatives, and even outspoken, high-profile Christian preachers publicly muse about potentially acquiescing to the reality-denying pronoun preferences, it's lesbian and gay activists demanding an end to the madness for the sake of our children.
I thought removing the transmission was the purpose of the present exercise.
Damn Harsh Statement !!
SPOT ON!!!!!!!!1
I love it when the Left eat their own.
Oops...could’ve said that differently.
Gays think trannies are wack.
Been making that point for years...
Just drop the “LGB” altogether and go with “POWL” — Perverts, Oddballs, Weirdos, and Loonies.
Good for them.
We all joke about the continuous string of letters tacked onto their little group. (I still don’t know what “queer” means as if it’s different from just being homo?)
Trannies are a special kind of queer. I mean, when you transition, are you now a homo or hetero?
;’}
Dave Chapelle has a funny bit about an L, G, B, and T sharing a ride.
Nicely put, and very true. However, speaking of destroying people's lives, how about that "bake the cake" stuff?
Yes, like the Jeopardy! champion who was born male, is now a "trans female" and is in a lesbian relationship with another woman. WTF?
Are they being banned for “hate speech”?! Lol
It *needs* to get ugly. The crock here is the belief that the "rainbow" crowd is one, big happy family. It isn't, and it wasn't before the inclusion of the non-LGB crowd.
It was bad enough that gays and lesbians have been fighting for top billing in the non-heterosexual crowd. I believe at one point it used to be "GLB". Somehow, the "L" crowd was listed first. The gays and lesbians are not fans of each other, and the T* group despises the "B" crowd because the latter implies (correctly) two sexes.
Too funny, but you knew it would need to happen eventually... Adding a dick or removing a dick, doesn’t make you a man or a woman... It makes you dick to men women gays and bisexuals. And those who are encouraging children to have these operations before they are adults should be rounded up and charged with some kind of criminal offense. Because it is clearly and criminally offensive to all of us.
Dang! I was enjoying the havoc the T’s were creating for the rest of them.
LGB = lousy goldarn bigots
No matter what letters they use to describe themselves they are actually FUBAR.
I also remember when FAGS was slang for cigarettes.
This isn’t new. There’s a very intelligent and well-spoken Lesbian woman in Baltimore, Julia Beck, who has been persecuted and excluded precisely for refusing to kowtow to the ‘transgender’ idea:

So in this photo the one on the left would be a "T", the one on the right just a plain ole vanilla "L"?
Very confusing to me. Let's hope they never introduce animals into the mix.
