Miranda Galbreath is a licensed professional counselor for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections. In a two-minute video, she makes her case for regarding what she refers to as Minor-Attracted People (MAP) as the most vilified group of people in our society. She maintains that these harmful views are a result of our incorrect (read: ignorant) assumptions about pedophilia, which is a term that should be banished for all its pejorative connotations.
Ms. Galbreath goes so far as to say that pedophilia has moved from being a diagnostic label to a hurtful, judgmental insult. Really? Where does she think the word comes from? "Pedo," or the British "paedo," comes from the Greek "paidos," or "child," plus "philos," which is Greek for "loving." Socrates was given hemlock for "corrupting" young boys, and Jesus famously said, "It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin." How does one say "pedophile" in Aramaic?
Ms. Galbreath says we all have many different parts of ourselves, including those who harbor sexual or romantic attractions to minors. Are there not Murder-Attracted and Mayhem-Attracted MAPs out there, some of whom must certainly possess some redeeming qualities? Why should we penalize psychopaths who act out their urges?

One objective of the term “minor attracted person” is to obscure and confuse the issue. Someone who is attracted to a 17 year old is “attracted to a minor”, but is not in the same category as someone who wants to have sex with 7 year olds.
The definition of “pedophilia” means attraction to preadolescent kids, meaning 12 and under.
I wonder, is she a pedophile too?
The Left are redefining again. Pedo’s will now be referred to as MAPS. Soon you will be tossed off social media if you dare say pedo instead of MAP. Then the Left will start demanding MAPS be included in the ‘diversity’ universe. Then the msm will begin to run sob stories on really, really, picked upon, bullied, MAPS. Then they will be included in the alphabet mafia. Then they will demand you celebrate how stunning and brave they are.
Apparently, we will need to save them from “therapists” as well as from “the-rapists.”

All manners of perversion are vying for mainstream acceptance. The sad thing is there are animal rights activists who will oppose the normalization of zoophilia more rigorously than many will fight against the normalization of pedophilia.

OAN played the clip of that bitch advocating for ‘minor attracted’ (a.k.a. PERVERTS) persons. Absolutely disgusting.
If that is the case, why should we punish anyone who acts out their urges? Why should we only give a pass to psychopaths? I mean even common criminals must have some redeeming qualities to them, right? why should he punish the unborn child for the crime of being a rape byproduct, or even the rapist himself? Heck, I'm sure all mass murders also have some redeeming traits, at some points in time during their lives. I guess what you are really saying, is that victims just need to get over themselves, because they are less important than the psychopaths are. Is that a correct summation of your thinking?
These people are what is wrong with society today, and why we have so man psychopaths in the first place.
