Went to the local change(Coinstar) machine yesterday, and the machine, had on its screen a message, that it could not take anymore coins, because it was full.
Well today, went to the local superstore, and the coin machine had the same message.

Whenever I see a coin on the pavement, I pick it up and put it my pocket.
My roommate calls me a Jew.
I went to a prep school that had a fair number of Jews. One of them was sometimes teased by other students throwing pennies or nickels to make him chase it and pick it up.
He didn't care. As far as he was concerned, he "cried all the way to the bank".

You can’t get some paper sleeves and load you own rolls to transact at your bank? My bank won't accept pre-rolled coins. They have a machine, and will count it there. Takes a while. I normally have 2-3 hundred dollars when I cash them in.

Did you read the story of the woman who picked up a dollar bill, and immediately had some sort of mental state change? Someone had put fentanyl on it and then threw it down as a trap. There are some chemicals that cause a heart attack upon contact with it.
This is not the day and age to pick up coinage.

It means that people are making money off of them faster than they can collect it.

There are 3D printing files available for coin sorters that are free to download.

Those coinstar machines would look much better decorated with the Brandon “I DID THAT!” sticker.

You can’t get some paper sleeves and load you own rolls to transact at your bank? Went to the bank today, and a guy with 2 cookie tins full of wrapped up quarters beat me to the teller by a second. The teller after counting up the rolls of quarters said that's $600, and then the guy said that he had to go his car(a newer Dodge Charger) to get his 3 tins full of wrapped nickles.
He then asked if the bank took loose change, and the teller said no, and I chimed in, that every supermarket has a change machine, and he stated don't they charge high interest, and I stated, yes but you pay for convience.
Anyway another teller showed up and I got my business done.

Probably that the vending machine operator that runs the machine is lazy and didn’t get there to empty the machine.
