Maybe Jill should be investigated. Her credentials as a PHD are questionable. The could not qualify for her PHD until after she married Joe and then her Doctorate was approved overnight. Check her records.

As others have noted, the hypocrisy is strong here. Insulting Trump and his family was okay. But even the slightest dig at the Biden clan is forbidden.
But yeah, you’re right. If you are, say, working for Tesla and you take a poke at Elon Musk’s family you can expect to get into a bit of trouble. Same applies here.

I hate to say it, but the 1A does not apply here. The 1A only protects you against government prosecution. It does not protect you against anything else. So the 1A would apply if Biden decided to arrest the general. But not if Biden decided to simply fire the general.
The general still has an out, though. It depends on what his contract with the army says. Under what conditions can the employer (the army) void the contract and fire the general?

I just registered as an Independent in order to vote this November. You should have seen the look flash across the young woman’s face (just very briefly) when she asked if I’d consider being a poll watcher, and I said “Yes.” I hope someday this young woman realizes that conservatives are not the enemy. Please vote. Even if your candidate is up 100 to 1 in the polls.

A number of retired flag-rank officers criticized President Trump while he was in office. He was their commander-in-chief. Some of these officers were aggressive in their criticism.
No actions were taken against them.
Is allegedly insulting the spouse of the President a crime?
