Barstool Sports president Dave Portnoy posted an emergency press conference to Twitter on Friday after news broke that the Supreme Court had overturned Roe v. Wade, sending the abortion issue back to the states.
In the two-and-a-half minute video, Portnoy called the ruling "pure insanity," stipulating he didn't represent his company's employees.

Oh my, it is very hot in the world because every pro choice loonie just got burned.
“The hysterics surrounding this ruling are insane, especially with the men. I don’t get it.”
Allow me to explain it to you. If you’re hearing hysteria from a man on this issue, he falls into one or both of the following categories: (1) cynical opportunists hoping to exploit this for political gain; and (2) men who have procured or encouraged the abortion of their own children and have guilty consciences about it.
Portnoy’s complaint...
And Dave’s a multimillionaire playboy, so….
Portnoy’s Complaint.
Thanks for revealing your true character, Portnoise. Don’t know what you’re selling, but I ain’t buying.
Some day Dave is going to wise up and see how much of his life was spent selfishly pursuing kid stuff instead of starting a family and having his own children grow, discover, and pursue those things along with him, and how much could have been so much better if he wised up ten years ago.
He's gonna realize that if he had a kid in his thirties, he could still have been young enough to smoke cigars at the races with him and keep up with him, and it would have been so much more satisfying than trying to keep his Cadre of boys around him for that long.
Darn, I used to like him.
Surprised and disappointed to hear him say this. It sounds like he has no understanding of the Constitution or of this ruling. This ruling does not ban abortion, nor does it overturn any liberal abortion law. It leaves the issue to the individual states. Even then, it does not necessarily preclude legal challenges to some abortion restrictions.
I had a girlfriend in Philly that turned me on to dipping French fries in mayo. Gag city for some folks, but I liked it!
In November 2021, a Business Insider exposé alleged that Portnoy had engaged in violent and aggressive sexual encounters with three young women and, further, that he had filmed them without their consent.[27] Portnoy fractured the rib of one of these women during sex, which he admitted to. He admitted to causing the injuries, but denied that the sex was nonconsensual.[28] Portnoy called the article a “hit piece,” arguing that Business Insider had tried to find evidence of wrongdoing from him for approximately eight months.[29]
In early February 2022, more sexual assault and harassment claims by young women were published in another Business Insider article.[30] After these new allegations were made, Portnoy subsequently announced a lawsuit against the publication. He continues to claim that the many reports were “false and defamatory.”[31]
Great when he was skewering the woke NFL, but if you ever listened to "Barstool Sports", they sound like a bunch of 14-year olds with potty mouths and bathroom humor.
He was on Tucker a few times. Hope to never see him again.
Beat us all to it
You would prefer economic collapse, Fool.
Unless and until an individual understands and acknowledges that more than one human life is at stake with every pregnancy, they will proceed under the assumption that abortion is not a matter of civic or governmental concern, and will do so often to the point of vulgar absurdity as we are witnessing.
Something always seemed off to me about this guy, it clearly was. Went ahead and read what he had to say this time, classic leftist clap trap. Founders slave owners, we’ve evolved, blah, blah, blah. Total no-nothing, not one word about the structure and roles of the 3 branches. First and last time I’ll seek out his opinion on anything.
That’s exactly who/what Musk is.
His mother served liver for dinner?
Abortion is wrong, I supported it years ago, I was wrong. At this point in history, I’m standing with The Almighty and let the chips fall where they may.
