I like guys who win.

I voted for Trump twice, and I’m a lawyer and I played a small role in his challenge to the results. My question for this board is: why shouldn’t we pick a winner? Trump lost. He lost the election and he lost, pathetically, in the post-election challenges. He lost those legal challenges before Trump-appointed judges as well Bush appointees, Obama appointees, and Clinton appointees.

He’s persuaded 40-something percent of the country but not matter what he does, he cannot – can not – persuade more people. He has not done so and will not do so. It may suck, but it’s a fact.

We have to be grownups and face that fact.

To quote Trump himself, speaking about McCain – “he lost. So I never liked him much after that, because I don't like losers."

Don’t we need a winner -- someone who can actually get elected? The principles we espouse – belief in private property, in the right to bear arms, belief in the biology of the human race (XX= female, XY = male); respect for religion; belief in American exceptionalism – these are principles that most Americans believe in. If Trump espouses those principles and can’t get to, never mind above, 50%, don’t we need to pick someone who can?

You’ll say the election was stolen and that we can’t prevent that from happening again unless the crime is unmasked and punished.

Assuming your premise, just ask yourself this: is Trump able to get the crime punished? Really? The answer, you know it, is “no.”

You’ll say it’s because the other side is corrupt and they cheat. I agree with you. We need someone who can DEFEAT them at that game. Trump has proven that he cannot do so. He is what he called McCain: a loser. He lost. He has no way to unlose, because 50% of the country hates his guts and would sooner vote for Mickey Mouse. You may think that’s ridiculous, but you do not have the legal power to make them vote for your guy instead. It just isn’t going to happen.

We’re the grownups. We have to face facts and deal with facts. Just as half the country supported slavery in 1865, so half the country supports slavery now. We have to have a leader who can LEAD those people to a better place. Ronald Reagan could do that.

We should find a leader who can actually LEAD people to that place. That means not only people like us, who already support these principles, but people who can be PERSUADED to support them.

Trump can not do that. He can’t. He doesn’t have the ability to do it.

The New Yorker, which I know all Freepers read religiously and believe every word it says, has an article up savaging DeSantis. As the National Review points out, the article can’t avoid saying he’s very smart, works very hard, is committed to conservative principles. And he wins elections. And he would win in a walk against Brandon. Shouldn’t we be smart and pick, or at least start looking for, a winner?

Your post and the response to it proves what I’ve suspected for a long time. There are a bunch of people on here who care more about proving a point (in this case that the 2020 election was stolen) than they do about actually winning in 2024. Whenever you base a political campaign around “making a point” you lose 99.9% of the time. The other side doesn’t get caught up in this stuff. They’re ruthlessly focused on doing whatever it takes to maintain and expand their power 24/7.

It’s going to have to be up to us. We need many thousands of boots on the ground. If some truck shows up at 3am loaded with fake ballots, we block them, film them, question them. Same with the mules. We need people at every polling place, counting center and ballot collection box 24/7. We need people working the polls and not 60 year old women that the blacks will intimidate. Big guys but not big dumb guys.

Trump did a lot for this country. But he’s a lightning rod for the left. And not for praise or admiration. And the simple-minded will believe anything the left tells them. Especially about the bogus Jan. 6th “insurrection”.

I wish to point out to you that every Republican nominee is "Hitler" and becomes a lightning rod for the left.

DeSantis will become "Hitler" and then many people will say we shouldn't support him because he has become a lightning rod for the left.

Anyone opposing them will become a lightning rod. George W was a "lightning rod", and in my opinion he was a milquetoast weenie that didn't fight back.

you’re still yelling at the umpire two years after the game ended. The ump doesn’t care.

You continue to use this analogy, yet we all know most umpires are not corrupt, paid off or owned like what were dealing with in the real world. Is your umpire in this case an honest umpire, or is this imaginary umpire similar to the backstabbing corrupt insider sellouts, who are trying to destroy America by any means necessary?

Or does it matter to you?

President Trump should put aside his personal desires and support the other contender, for the good of the country.

What is in the best interests of the Country is shoving Trump down the throats of the cheats and backstabbers while making them live in fear of his Justice Department investigating them and placing them in prison where they belong.

We need Trump, and we need the vengeance against the corrupt rigged election system perpetrators which Trump will provide.

They hate and fear Trump, and that is exactly why we need to put him back in power.

The Courts are garbage, and there will be no relief to be had from that direction.

We'll put you in the vote fraud denier column.

Your post actually shows how American "elections" are stolen.

The Uniparty never gives up the con. Just deny, deny, deny. The last box is on deck.

You can't just look at the final numbers, say they show a suspicious pattern, and overturn an election on that basis.

My post says nothing of the sort. It just tells interested parties where to look and watch at the next fake election.

My tables buttress and dovetail with the True The Vote evidence, BTW.

I'd like to thank you for your exposition of The Bart Simpson Defense of the vote fraud scoffers:

Didn't Do It.
Didn't See Me Do It.
Can't Prove I Did It.

There it is again...But.

Oh, I love Trump, I voted for him....I think he's great... "BUT"....

Assuming Trump is able to win in 2024, he'll spend the next 4 years a lame duck.

Don't think so. He will get the wall building going again and he will order the Justice department to investigate and prosecute election fraud.

Why does it matter to you given that the umpire’s call still controls the outcome no matter what we say or how loud we say it or how many times we repeat it.
Not only doesn’t the ump care. The audience doesn’t care. They’ve left to stadium and gone home. They will not come back and ask for a do over, or fire the ump, no matter how many times you prove it was a ball that he called a strike.
We have to find a way to actually solve the problem. Otherwise we just give up and hand the game to the other side. Is that what you propose?

The Courts are garbage

Courts? You bet, total corruption in every direction...And who infests these courts? Corrupt lying lawyers...Look what they tried to do to that young man Rittenhouse, and many others...They attempted to put them in cages for life...And they don't even think twice about it. They'll write books and brag about it.

So I hit the ten ring, you don't give two shits if Trump was looted and robbed because it's all done and said, right Johnny?

I see your point. And I respect your opinion.

I voted for Trump both times. But I am worried, like you, that spending more time looking back than looking forward is a losing proposition.

We need someone who makes the issue “election security” for 2024. Im not convinced that Trump is that guy.

Start electing more lawyers turned career politicians. That's the ticket...Look at how well it's turned out in the last 50 years, as a conga line of lying lawyers have all but left America dead on the floor...

But your umpire called it, so it's a done deal, right Johnny?

He may have had an army of lawyers…but they literally did not know what they were doing.

Yeah, he got a whole collection of lemons. Amazing that he could find so many that didn't know what they were doing.

It has nothing to do with the media onslaught attempting to manipulate public perception and especially intimidate the judges.

How many judges heard evidence? None? I'm Shocked! Shocked I tell you to find out that it didn't matter what the proof was, no one was going to hear it.

Look at the freepers defending open vote fraud on this thread.

The ones who rigged the "election" will just do it, harder, in future "elections".

And they'll just keep selling the "vote for the lesser of two weasels!" mantra.

If you don’t have standing…there is no need to look at evidence.

These proceedings have rules. He did not follow them.

We have to come up with a plan that has a good chance of actually succeeding that will put into that chair a person who will do what we want. That’s all that matters.

Get rid of the fraud in the few swing states that rigged the election for Biden.

If you don't fix that, it doesn't matter who you pick.
