Joe Biden fell off his bike during ride near his Rehoboth Beach home in Delaware Friday, as he and his wife celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.
Biden took ride with his wife - surrounded by agents - Saturday morning near his Rehoboth Beach home.
Moments before the fall, he greeted reporters with a wave and a 'Good morning!'
The Bidens marked their 45th wedding anniversary Friday and are spending the Juneteenth holiday weekend at the beach with the first cat, Willlow.
On Friday, the first lady tugged her husband away as he stopped to talk to reporters as they left the White House.
'We gotta go,' Dr. Biden told the president.
Biden was pressed on his trip to Saudi Arabia and two American ex-service members captured by Russians while fighting in Ukraine after leaving the White House ahead of his weekend trip.
Jill then stepped in and said 'we gotta go' and gave him a tug as he responded to shouts from reporters.
'Americans should not be going to Ukraine now. Say it again: Americans should not be going to Ukraine now. They should not be going to Ukraine,' the president said.
He had been asked about reports that two Americans who are former servicemembers and aiding the war effort may have been captured by Russians in wartorn Ukraine.
Biden is spending the weekend in Rehoboth Beach amid mounting questions over how he will deal with inflation and with the gun package negotiations in the Senate in limbo after Republican Senator John Cornyn stormed out of talks on Thursday night.
Willow flew on Marine One in her carrier, and was taken to the waiting helicopter by a valet.

A drop like that automatically secures an injury and straight to the hospital you go at his age. He can barely walk why the hell did they let him ride a bike? You can tell he’s very fragile maybe we’ll know later on if he ends up in the hospital with a broken something or other. Unless whatever he needs the doctor can perform in the basement of his Delaware mansion without the public ever knowing. Remember that time they said he tripped over his dog or something and was incapacitated in his basement for quite awhile? Falling off a bike it’s not without consequence at his age.

I’m 71 and would not dare get on a 2 wheel bike. A fall at any speed would get me something broken and lots of bloody scratches.

If you go fast enough, even a unicycle is easy. Maybe Joe’s bike is radio controlled and he remembered how brakes work.

if you go to daily mail but dont click on the article you can see joe actually fall over. it appears he was crowded. i could see a person not 79 have an issue with it...but at his age..he is asking for trouble

They are probably afraid to use a motorize wheel chair for these as if he falls out of that, they really lose the effect of virility and manhood they are trying to display. All confidence shot down. Reminds me of a 75 year old woman getting a boob job. Biden will be 80 years old this year. He needs to display the maturity and forethought to act his age.
