Maybe Sherlock Holmes can unmask the Supreme Court leaker

No offense to the FBI...

Two weeks, and the Supreme Court leaker is still going to work every day. I assume he is, unless there was a resignation that no one heard about.

Who did it? We understand that Chief Justice Roberts is very committed to finding the leaker. Yet this leaker is still out there, and who knows what other "leak" is coming? Once a leaker, always a leaker. Just check out the repeat leakers who kept the media busy during the Russia and Trump story.

So Justice Roberts needs a Plan B. I'm not knocking the FBI, but this leak calls for the genius.

We remember that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was born on this day in 1859:

After medical school, Doyle moved to London, where his slow medical practice left him ample free time to write.

SNIP

So maybe we can revive Holmes once again and turn the matter of the leak to him. The new novel should be titled The Angry Intern Seeking Fame and Fortune or the story of the liberal who just couldn't accept the idea that voters rather than justices should make these calls. The motive was to excite the hapless Democrats 2022, write a book or two, and get a job as a legal analyst at CNN plus.

The leaker should be punished, but they would become a hero to the left.

Look no further than Robert’s office.

Since the leaker hasn’t been found and no one really seems to care anymore, I guess Supreme Court leaks are now OK.

If the leaker was a conservative who leaked a leftist justice’s work, he’d be in prison by now...

I think the leaker is already a hero to the left.

Yes, the leak and the leaker are in the rear window now - we’ll only know the identity later, once the book comes out.

It’s laughable to accuse a conservative of doing it. We’re not the ones wearing funny hats.

We’ll never find out....unless everyone is given a lie detector test. Roberts should initiate it.

Outing the leaker is subterfuge

The Justice who ordered the leak is who should be sought and outed

I’m not knocking the FBI...

I am.

There’s only a few dozen law clerks within the Supreme Court. It wouldn’t take the FBI that long to request and analyze the SMS messages and emails of all the clerks to determine the leaker. The FBI, of course, has no interest in unmasking the leaker, because the leaker is on “their” side.

Like “Deep Throat,” the leaker will be (ostensibly) exposed in the far, far future.

Think of all the Congressional hearings to expose malefactors, i.e., Trey Gowdy’s circus, and the nothing burgers from ongoing investigations.

You are more likely to wind up in jail with some specious charge than any of the denizens of DC being held accountable.

Show trials anyone? It looks like the USA is devolving into the USSA imitating its arch rival the USSR.

Could just as likely be one of the intel services that hacked in and stole the document.

I suspect that Roberts already knows who the leader is, maybe one of his own clerks? But once he determined that he could not sway the ‘five’ this was the only option left to him to attempt to derail it. Have not trusted him ever since his tortured Obamacare decision...

Anyone surprised they haven’t caught the trader? My solution early on was a bit of a knee jerk reaction, but less so now. Roberts should end the Courts session early, and all 36 Law Clerks fired. That effectively kills those Clerks careers short of a Public Defender in some ghetto. I think that would flush the trader out.

"We understand that Chief Justice Roberts [alleged that he] is very committed to finding the leaker."

Unless you are a mindreader.
