But he said his crews complained about coming across needles, drug paraphernalia, feces and were concerned about theft.

“You don’t know what’s going to happen,” Cirbo said.

In a recent email to a downtown customer, Cirbo wrote, “We made a decision as a company not to do any work downtown almost two years (ago). The technicians were tired of stepping over needles, human feces, vans getting broken into, etc.”

And I recently saw an article calling for AC to be a fundamental human right.

The company is obviously racist and should be canceled immediately. 🤡

Such a shame. Denver used to be a wonderful and historic city. Then they let Californians in. Then they legalized pot. Then they elected crooked Democrats through mail ballots. I used to love the place. Still do love Colorado.

I know pizza companies close by who dont deliver to specific zip codes. Same with plumbing and HVAC companies. That’s why most companies with allow an email box for you to send a quote but not necc. they will answer depending on the address. Certain areas of Long Beach as an example, Fedex and UPS wont do it.

And now for something completely different.....

In Tennessee the sales of something called CBD was legalized. It is Hemp in some form and I think it is supposed to reduce pain. Drug stores don’t sell it

Monday I saw a sign outside one of the stores that sell it indicating they had CBD for your pets

“Such a shame. Denver used to be a wonderful and historic city.”

Yes, it was. Lower Downtown (LoDo, to the locals) was a great rejuvenation in 1990’s of Heroine Row, and a great example of entrepreneurial spirit. Liberalism, primarily from California, Chicago, and Texas, has made a mess of Colorado. I lived in Denver since 1984, minus a few years overseas, and we just moved to Florida this past Winter.

Yeah, because nobody was smoking weed in Colorado until they legalized it.

Except my friends and I, smoking acres of the stuff back in the 80s and 90s.

The whole country of United States of America was a wonderful place when I arrived as a graduate student in engineering in 1960. I was enrolled in University of Iowa, and in spite of the brutal winters there, I loved the place. There were no long hair, torn jeans, unshaved faces or drug addicts in university. OK so we drank beers on weekends. Later came Vietnam war and it was the beginning of the demise.

In 2022, there are only four states where marijuana remains illegal.

Idaho, Wyoming, Kansas, and South Carolina.

Well of course, the equipment is free, and they run on Unicorn Farts. And a side benefit, the farts produce both energy and Skittles.

I've spoken about this repeatedly, and I'll say it again.

This is the first time in our history that city leaders have completely abandoned their oaths, basic services, and quality of life issues.

These Mayors and city councilmen, they simply don't care. They are there to get their exorbitant pay and perks and at the end of the day they go home to their family in their tony 5 bedroom house in the suburbs or exburbs and pour themselves a glass of wine.

That's the new norm in America now.
