Meteorites are not ‘flaming rocks of doom,' NASA says
The “bright fireball” was traveling at 35,000 mph when it exploded at 8:03 a.m. with the “energy equivalent of 3 tons of TNT,” according to NASA Meteor Watch, the agency's project that tracks fireball activity.
“Existing law states that any meteorites belong to the owner of the property on which they fell; out of respect for the privacy of those in the area, we will not disclose the locations of these finds,”
And finding anything of value is likely harder than you think.
“The pieces from this object were way too small to leave a crater. Unlike what you see in the movies, meteorites are not ‘flaming rocks of doom’ that blast holes in the ground. In fact, you can pick one up right after it hits ground. So no smoking rocks in small craters.”

One of the days it will be a weird Woordle, since weird is a 5 letter word. So then you won’t be able to use that phrase without tipping us off.

The lady is the tenant, so it’s the guy who would have to go. She and her son have lived there for several years. Maybe five?
Kathleen and I enjoyed our visit to Bill and his cat. He showed us pictures of his New York apartment. He doesn’t want to take all his furniture, so we will take some. I sent the choir a message about his bed: maybe one of them will want it or know someone who does. It’s only two years old and no bugs.

The heat is one thing... my concern is growing about the lack of rain in the forecast... and what I hear the weather people saying about comparisons to 1953 and 2011....

That makes sense. Sounds like the guy is just so much dead wood anyway.
Good deal with your visit to Bill and his cat! I hope there are no monstrous pet deposits awaiting them. It’s good that he can dispense with the things he doesn’t want to take and that they will be useful to others.
Did you say his apartment in NY is larger than the one in NC? I know you said the rent wasn’t that outlandish, so that’s good!

Yes, the NY apartment is a little bigger, and it looked clean. I’m sure Little Kitty will adjust easily enough as soon as they’ve moved.

She might be slightly traumatized by the long trip, but as soon as she’s done her ‘splorin’ she’ll adjust just fine.
Is Bill getting excited, now?
