Meteorites are not ‘flaming rocks of doom,' NASA says
The “bright fireball” was traveling at 35,000 mph when it exploded at 8:03 a.m. with the “energy equivalent of 3 tons of TNT,” according to NASA Meteor Watch, the agency's project that tracks fireball activity.
“Existing law states that any meteorites belong to the owner of the property on which they fell; out of respect for the privacy of those in the area, we will not disclose the locations of these finds,”
And finding anything of value is likely harder than you think.
“The pieces from this object were way too small to leave a crater. Unlike what you see in the movies, meteorites are not ‘flaming rocks of doom’ that blast holes in the ground. In fact, you can pick one up right after it hits ground. So no smoking rocks in small craters.”

Yes, indeed you did!!
And you did it in fine style! It wasn’t X/6 so that’s awesome!
You mean I have to owrk?
Yep. Sorry. But you have the entire weekend to rest up.
Any news on Princess Dog’s health? Plan of action? Etcetera?
No updates. We’ll find out more maybe next week.
We’re home! Laundry is on. Cats have been seen.
I hope you had a restful time with your mother.
It’s good to have you back!
Thank you. We had a very nice time. It would have been more restful without the sciatica, but at least there was no pillow cat.
Mom is slowing down, but she’s in pretty good shape for 84. She has another guest coming in late September.
Floofy kitteh!
Good morning.
Did you have a good night? Probably not compared to while you were gone!
We have rain again. When it isn’t rainy, it’s overcast. *sigh*
Today I’ll just wait for the groceries to be delivered. After that, I don’t know what’s on the docket.
My hip and leg stop hurting if I get in just the right position, but it starts again if I move. Nonetheless, I’m up and at ‘em.
We have choir this morning, and then I’m not sure what.
Not having a pillow cat is good!
You ca-letter came yesterday! Good read! Thanks!
I’m thinking I’ll probably slow down when I reach 84, but your mother looks like she feels well.
Mom has Parkinson’s Disease, but it’s not stopping her yet. Being around the old people has motivated me to get serious about my diet and exercise!
If she’s taking meds to help control the Parkinson’s, there isn’t a reason in the world why she can’t just keep going as long as she wants to.
Chuck, (Hurricane manager) has Parkinson’s but he doesn’t want to take the pills. I guess he’s one of those people who expect miracles and doesn’t understand the concept of “cumulative effects.”
Mom takes some medicine for Parkinson’s. She also goes to an exercise class.
Both are helpful, from what I’ve read.
CBD oil is supposed to be pretty good for it. I saw a film clip of a man who had extremely severe symptoms. They managed to put a drop on his tongue and within just a few minutes, he was completely calm. No spasms whatsoever.
If I ever got Parkinson’s, I think that’s what I would use.
Well, here’s today’s effort. Darn thing gave me the heebee-jeebies!
GAH!

Hoping that all is well, with all of you...
By the time I got down to the 5th row, there just weren’t many letters left!

But you made it! Good job!
When my starter word didn’t produce any results, I was ready to toss in the sponge. The second word was almost as bad.
Choir practice is done. I think I’ll go to the library next.
Good morning!
My starter word failed to yield and this one was a puzzler. Letter elimination finally got me there.
I thought I might go X/6 for a minute.
