Meteorites are not ‘flaming rocks of doom,' NASA says
The “bright fireball” was traveling at 35,000 mph when it exploded at 8:03 a.m. with the “energy equivalent of 3 tons of TNT,” according to NASA Meteor Watch, the agency's project that tracks fireball activity.
“Existing law states that any meteorites belong to the owner of the property on which they fell; out of respect for the privacy of those in the area, we will not disclose the locations of these finds,”
And finding anything of value is likely harder than you think.
“The pieces from this object were way too small to leave a crater. Unlike what you see in the movies, meteorites are not ‘flaming rocks of doom’ that blast holes in the ground. In fact, you can pick one up right after it hits ground. So no smoking rocks in small craters.”

I’m not sure how I feel this morning. But I know it was a good decision. Like I said, if I have to argue with myself about whether I should go someplace or not, I should probably stay home. I’ve just eliminated that argument in advance for the next month. When the month is up, I’ll see how I feel.

Well, since I’m a “if it lasts long enough it will be back in fashion” kind of clothing person, I can’t understand him, but it’s OK as long as he’s happy.
He kept asking me if men wear “tapered” pants and I kept saying, “I don’t even notice their shirts. I look at faces.”
Bill the Son, the hipster fashion statement, wears tapered pants.

Everyone knows that you can’t see a cat if the cat’s eyes are closed.
Back in the day, you may remember that Bill Clinton was asked, “Boxers or Briefs.”
The untold story was that Bob Dole was also asked and he replied, “Depends.”
Almost reminds me of this one:
If you can see Chuck Norris, Chuck Norris can see you.
If you can’t see Chuck Norris, you may be moments away from violent death.
I’m sure there’s a kitteh version of that story.
