The more Russia "wins," the more the US fights. If Russia takes Ukraine, there will be less peace, not more.
Kind of like a homeless encampment that the EU has to pour money into, with no access to the sea to ship their grain, no oil or gas, and no energy transiting to Europe that they can steal or make money off of.

Ukraine has not been ruled by Russia since 1991. In the 70 years before that, there were only the 5 million killed by the Russians in the forced famine of the 1930s, and then WWII.
Kind of a weird way to define "virtual peace".
