I remember a man from Nevada who was convicted of tax evasion and false tax filings. He fought against personal income taxes and claimed that he could teach others how to avoid taxes.
IIRC one of his arguments was that people are sovereign citizens and taxing them directly is unconstitutional.
I had to do some digging but I found his name, Irwin Schiff.
He died in prison.
Many others served time because of him.
I remember at the time how much we hoped he would be successful in all his court cases. Unfortunately, the courts always ruled in the government’s favor.
He fought the good fight but they had to shut him down to discourage others from rising up against illegal taxation.

I’m going with “Yeah” on the double Fang question. With an election coming up in a few months, and knowing there’s going to be some serious investigatin’ going on, The Chicoms, probably more than anyone else, know they have a lot to hide/bury. There’s going to be more of this.
