I was happy to leave that job. It was soul-destroying work because I couldn’t bear to watch the waste of resources and ideas.

Covid-19 causes lymphocytopenia (depletion of lymphocytes) in real life patients
HIV causes depletion of lymphocytes also
Both Sars-Cov-2 and HIV use the same receptor LFA-1 to enter T cells
HIV uses gp120 protein to bind to LFA-1 receptor
Sars-Cov-2 also has gp120 insert as well, mysteriously
And, therefore, the effect of Sars-Cov-2 and HIV on lymphocytes is in many ways similar.

Got my time fully occupied getting the family into secure shelter with enough provisions to wait out the sh**storm our friends in DC seem to want.
Yeah, I know it’s a risk, betting on heat from the earth core and all. It could fizzle out in the next bazillion years or so? Funny because I keep track of the ground temp at my place. Two inches down it’s always 55 degrees. Knowing that helps with building heating and some other stuff. If it drops to 54 I’ll start to panic and let you know.
