If Fauci had anything to do with the creation of HIV, he may have intended that the virus would be airborne and kill millions. It occurs to me that maybe it wasn’t airborne only because he was a really bad scientist. My personal experience with government work is that mediocrity is rewarded so that the mediocre supervisors aren’t threatened by their harder-working and more intelligent underlings. I was happy to leave that job. It was soul-destroying work because I couldn’t bear to watch the waste of resources and ideas.
